According to the report, the submarine of the 636.3 project "Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky", built for the Pacific Fleet, successfully passed state tests, which lasted from 4 to 10 on October. Currently, the ship is undergoing an audit, after which the submarine will be finished. At the same time, the state commission will begin drawing up the acceptance certificate. Earlier it was reported that the submarine will enter the fleet before the end of the year.

The contract for the construction of a series of six “Varshavyanka” for the Pacific Fleet was signed by the Russian Defense Ministry and the Admiralty Shipyards in September 2016. DEPL "Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky" is the seventh submarine of this type, built for the Russian Navy and the first in a series for the Pacific Fleet.
