After Victory Day, grass, grow!
However, I allow myself to disagree with such a statement of the question. But more about that later, but for now, in essence.
Working on the material, we visited the memorial at the Shilovsky bridgehead. Yes, the urban district is the city of Voronezh, Sovetsky district.
The memorial complex is set in honor and memory of those warriors who stormed these heights in the 1943 year. It was very difficult and very bloody. The losses were huge.
Monument, mass grave, belfry (all that remains of the village of Shilovo) - until recently, all this was located in the territory subject to the unfinished (by the decision of the city residents) nuclear heating station.
Life in this facility was warming insofar as. But the station was guarded, wishing to profit (and there were enough of them) metal was regularly beaten off the monument, the monuments were looked after and renewed.
And this year, thunder hit a clear sky. The city administration announced a competition for the destruction of the station building.
That the object is interfering is understandable. It will be difficult to disassemble, but how many years already (since 1990 has been standing), how the construction is stopped, and it is clear that it will not resume again.
And here I am in the memorial.
So far, more or less, traces of the recent repair are visible to the naked eye on the obelisk, but see for yourself what the site is like - see for yourself.

It is completely incomprehensible what kind of grave it is. No identification marks, nothing.
I understand that, according to the administrations (the city of Voronezh, the Soviet district and the village of Shilovo), everything is going as it should. In general, traces of mowing are visible if you look closely. Perhaps before Victory Day, perhaps even when, but it was.
Why the city does not want to allocate 1 (ONE) person with a mower and eggplant gasoline, I do not understand. After all, the maintenance and cleaning of ALL monuments is included in the city budget.
Probably because this place is not visited as Victory Square or the Glory Monument. Newlyweds do not come here, and practically do not drive excursions. Previously, the place was generally almost closed, while something was happening at the station. And on the other hand, a very steep climb - 300 meters. Only for steep SUVs that have dashed a visible road through the monument.
Have fun.
As I understand it, the memorial is doomed. Rosenergoatom will leave - that's all. There will be no one to protect and cultivate. And everything will finally deteriorate and will become desolate. And the monument will be dismantled for metal, the benefit of trepidations was abundant.
And the monument is unique. There are only two of them in the world - this one in China too. This is not casting, this is chasing. Minted workers VASO. With love.
What's next?
Next, back to the beginning. The farther from the war, the harder it will be. Veterans are leaving, and for new generations this war is generally an empty phrase. They are her on the "Tundra" and "Ghouls" are. All over. And consider themselves specialists.
Hysteria, but I have no other word, which is fanned by May 9, it then passes. And everything returns to square one. As they say. even though the grass does not grow. But here's the problem: the grass is just growing! Through slabs, through granite and marble.
And now many will say: what to sit! Darted, took a scythe, mowed the grass - and you will be well done! And in winter, snow can be removed. And we will like you. As it should be. Let's throw the Odobrymsovs from the heart.
Feel what we're going for? Do not like it - do it yourself! Begin with yourself! Take the civic initiative!
Well yes. The child is sick, but does the poor state have no money for him? Nothing, we will collect by SMS and send it to the USA. They will fix it there. Missing person? It’s not a question, we have a lot of volunteers, they’ll come out and find. Why bother the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergencies, right?
Do you want the monument to be safe and sound? So repair and protect!
And so, as some people criticize from sofas, arranging Internet obstructions with likes and dislikes, doing nothing at all, that’s how officials want to live. On the couch. So that no one would strain them, but things were going. At the very civic initiative.
On which they treat children, bring them up, instill in them love for their homeland, and so on.
And they, our boyars, will simply rejoice for the people. On the couch. In his office. True, at our expense, because they live on our taxes. Well, those who pay. I’m crying because a journalist, by virtue of the specifics of his work, has the right to ask: what will we do with memory and patriotism, gentlemen?
As Putin said in a May Xnumx speech on Red Square? "We will always remember the great feat of our ancestors." As?
All that I would like to say at the end is to repeat the appeal that is stamped on the monument.
People, remember! 9 May does not end memory and respect for our ancestors-winners.
