Thousands of broken families, numerous mutilated fates - all these are the dire consequences of one of the most pressing problems of Russia in recent decades, called alcoholism.
The habit of drinking alcohol "in moderation" has penetrated so deeply into the subconscious of the people that many Russians cannot imagine their life without the "green serpent." In this regard, the solution to the problem of alcohol abuse, which has reached the forefront, is no longer possible without state support.
And this support at the state level is already yielding tangible results. At least that's what officials say.
The data presented by the Ministry of Health indicate a decrease in per capita alcohol consumption over the past eight years. The effectiveness of the methods of combating alcoholism is also evidenced by a decrease in 20% of mortality due to intoxication and a decrease in the number of people registered in drug treatment clinics. Not everyone trusts these statistics, but this is a separate issue.
Is this data true? Who doesn’t like that Russia is sobering so fast? Watch the next video prepared by “Time is ahead!”
