The predecessor of this machine is the legendary VSS Vintorez sniper rifle. Its design and ammunition turned out to be so successful that on the basis of this product a special silent AS “Val” submachine gun was created, which will be discussed in the video prepared by the Lazarev Tactical channel.
It's low noise weapon was developed in the Soviet Union in the 80-ies at the enterprise TsNIITochmash and was intended for special forces. Its differences are a relatively high range (400 meters), armor-piercing, stealth. These characteristics then formed the basis for the creation of a small-sized machine "Whirlwind".
The AS “Val” submachine gun, despite the fact that it was released more than 30 years ago, is still actively used by the military today, remaining very “popular” in Russian intelligence units.
Lazarev Tactical in its video will present a full review of the AS “Val”, in which it will tell about the device of this weapon, its ammunition, advantages and disadvantages, its silent shooting, as well as its use in battle. He focuses on the differences between this product and the VSS Vintorez sniper rifle and will test the AS Val on the “armor piercing” of its cartridge.
