It is reported that the SAA almost struck at the Turkish contingent

Against the backdrop of trilateral talks in Ankara between Vladimir Putin, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Hassan Rouhani in Syria, an incident in the south of Idlib province was outlined.
According to Lebanese media reports, the Syrian government army launched an attack on the position of militants near the village of Maar Hatat. The positions of the Khayyat Tahrir al-Sham group are strong in this region (KhTSh, the former name - Jebhat al-Nusra - is prohibited in the Russian Federation). It is noteworthy that not far from the positions of the militants was the observation post of the Turkish armed forces.
According to media reports, as a result of the shelling of the positions of the militants, the SAA almost hit the Turkish contingent.
From the report:
One of the AAA shells fell and exploded several tens of meters from the Turkish observation post. This is the second such case when the Syrian Arab army, overshooting the positions of the militants, almost struck a blow at the Turkish military.
If everything was exactly as the Lebanese information sources describe, then only one question arises: why do Turkish troops in Syria act almost as a screen for militant groups?
The day before, the Russian president in Ankara noted that it is unacceptable to divide Syria into zones of influence and it is time to focus on political processes, as a result of which the people of Syria must determine the future of their country.
