Once again, Russia has “raised” the cost of living for the population
- the text of the order says.
Thus, compared with the same indicators for the first quarter, the increase in the subsistence minimum amounted to: in Russia as a whole - 4% or 432 rubles (10753 rubles in the first quarter / 11185 in the second), for the able-bodied population - 4,1% or 477 rubles (11653 rubles / 12130 rubles), for pensioners - 3,8% or 369 rubles (8894 rubles / 9336 rubles), for children - 4% or 419 rubles (10585 rubles / 11004 rubles).
In the ministry, the reason for the increase in the cost of living by precisely such amounts was the rise in price of products from the consumer basket by 3,8%.
The subsistence minimum is understood as the value of the consumer basket, which includes the minimum set of food products, goods and services necessary for maintaining health and ensuring human life. In addition, the subsistence minimum also includes the monthly payments and fees necessary for payment, such as, for example, utility bills, an apartment, etc.
