The first project of the joint Ukrainian-Turkish enterprise will be the development of a shock drone new generation AkIncI. This is reported on Online "Ukroboronprom".
The joint venture created by the state company Ukrspetsexport and the Turkish company Baykar Defense will begin the development of a new generation shock drone called Akıncı (tur. - type of light cavalry). According to the director general of Ukroboronprom Pavel Bukin, the new UAV is being developed taking into account the experience of armed conflicts of the 21 century and is intended mainly for the Ukrainian and Turkish armed forces.
As Bukin explained, the main advantage of the new drone is that it can deliver high-precision strikes with the same weapons that conventional planes use.

The wingspan of the UAV is 20 meters, two Ukrainian-made engines are installed on them, which are not disclosed. The drone is capable of lifting more than 1000 kg of various weapons into the air, including guided missiles, a variety of conventional and high-precision bombs.
