Ukrainian general accuses Zelensky administration of "capitulation" to the Russian Federation
Ivan Aparshin was answered by a veteran of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Vasily Bogdan. According to Bogdan, Aparshin "does not need to interfere in the affairs of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff." At the same time, Bogdan called the statement by the assistant to the head of the presidential administration Zelensky “a possible attempt to influence public opinion and intimidate Ukrainians”.
According to the Ukrainian retired general, the Zelensky administration with its statements “is trying to persuade Ukrainians to a compromise solution, which is actually surrender.”

In addition, Bogdan said that Russia would not decide on those military measures against Ukraine that Aparshin presented as a forecast.
It is important to recall that Aparshin considered the “full-scale war” as one of the options. Other options presented to him: “border conflict” and “Russia's use of internal forces to achieve its goals.”
