The Syrian army continues to advance in the direction of the key city of the Idlib province of Khan Sheikhun, occupying another height and freeing two villages. This is reported by the radio station Sham FM.
Government forces continue their advance towards the city of Khan Sheikhun, having knocked out terrorist group militants from two villages and also occupying a strategically important height on the way to the city, follows from a radio correspondent from the scene. The city of Al-Hubayt, located 10 km from Khan Sheikhun and called the "gate to Idlib", was captured by the Syrian army last Sunday.
The government army, after violent clashes with armed groups in the region, established control over the villages of Kafr Ain and Aas, as well as the hill of Tell Aas in the south of Idlib province east of the city of al-Hubayt

As previously reported, the Syrian army strikes terrorists from two sides, trying to ring the city of Khan Sheikhun, the largest city in the area, controlled by the banned terrorist group Jebhat al-Nusra in Russia. The command of the Syrian army said that the task of the offensive is the complete liberation of the strategic route M5 Damascus - Allepo, passing through the province of Idlib.
The offensive of government forces is accompanied by fierce fighting, resulting in heavy losses on both sides.
