Airborne Forces Day, fountain and vodka
2 August. The day, known to all as one of the days when it seems to be a holiday, but you have to be on your guard. Because in the late afternoon (especially on Fridays), guys in blue berets begin to appear on the streets, let's say, in varying degrees of adequacy. And this is normal, since the Airborne Forces Day - well, you just have to go through it. Like the day of the border guard or the day of the Navy, it all depends on which troops are most called upon from a particular region.
The weather is not pleased, or vice versa, pleased. From the point of view of an ordinary person, it is not very pleasant to climb into the fountain in such weather. But when did it stop the paratroopers?
However, having traveled to several places, in the sense of city fountains, everywhere we saw the same picture.
True, here, frankly, there was one (!) Man in a blue beret, trying to solicit others with the question "where is everyone?" It was Alexander from Sakhalin Island, who came to visit relatives and was not aware of the innovations.
In general, we captured Alexander and took him to a place of mass gathering of "blue berets" and released him into his usual habitat.
Why did it happen that 2 August in the homeland of the Airborne Forces was all so quiet and peaceful?
The issue of organization, nothing more.
It turned out that to miss all the paratroopers of the city in one place is very simple. You just need to create a place where they would feel comfortable. So - Victory Park. In which just recently we filmed material about the opening of the monument to Margelov.
By the way, the newly opened bust was very popular, as at the opening there were not all wearing blue sweatshirts and berets.
And the park has become today the scene of rather serious events.
We walked like a small rally, which was imagined as a small laying of a pair of wreaths, flowers, and of the party of paratroopers.
On the whole, everything looked a bit strange, because everyone laid the wreaths and flowers to the monument to the first landing party: the veterans of the Airborne Forces, the army, the VKS, the Emergencies Ministry, the UFSIN, the police, the customs, the Russian Orthodox Church and some other people in uniform. In short, Railways was not, the rest were present.
It looked massively, but again, weird.
And then there was that pleasant surprise.
This is the stone at the base of the future Airborne Museum. Which will be built by next year. The chairman of the Voronezh branch of the Society of paratroopers Vitaly Kashirin told us about the plans and deadlines, it makes no sense to repeat, you just have to wish good luck and wait for the opening. It would be great if by the 90 anniversary of the Airborne Forces had time.
By the way, the project is very original.
In general, the stone laid, we will gaze as the construction goes.
At this serious part ended and began, in fact, a holiday. Concert, meeting friends, celebrations and everything connected with it. At once I will say that I saw one who was very much noticed. And even then, very quickly the organizers dragged him somewhere, did not let him fall.
In general, as if watching the order was enough.

Plus there were several retail outlets with buns and especially with meat.
So there was a snack where and how. Quite, by the way, a useful thing.
An additional plus - from the 20 army drove a little bit of technology, it was where the kids climb.
In general, I would like to note a very clear organization. Apparently, the changes that have taken place inside the paratroopers' society are more than positive.
When the Society is not featured in police reports, when an event is an event, not a booze, this is what the city-homeland of the Airborne Forces should be proud of.
