Our people. Vitaly Scherbak goes around the country
Surprisingly, there was a completely different topic. If in the first event the theme of confronting any totalitarianism is white, a sort of study in black and red, then this time it was different. A riot of colors in the style of 60-x, ostentatious lightness and recklessness.
Well, yes, the Beatles.
Some will say: so what? Where are we, where is the "Military Review", where are the Beatles and their work?
In general, if so, then it is quite possible to attract by the ears. Yes, the Beatles, if they were doing something topical, then just the theme of resistance to the war was present in full. And our goose doesn’t want war either, as the famous character of folk art used to say, even though our armored train was always somewhere, on the siding dangling.
Culture ... This is such a thing, it is now very criticized. And some historical characters generally tried to clutch at the gun with only one word.
But this is exactly what our, we say frankly, embittered society lacks. Culture and kindness. And here, there is no dispute, the Beatles are long gone and have become, to put it mildly, irrelevant. And it's a pity, honestly, unpretentious songs, in which there was not a single gram of aggression - they were quite to themselves in that world.
But that world is over. And therefore, all that remains is the Beatles songs, colorful posters and comics as a reminder of the era when people believed that beauty could save the world, and kindness could stop the war ...
Yes, by the way, Vitaly drew the continuation of the comic "HELP!" ..
In general, it looked pretty cute. Multicolor and welcome.
Opening of the exhibition. Vitaly Scherbak and curator of the project “Gallery in the Gallery”, Maria.
By the way, people are pretty good at tusil ...
The highlight of the program, which many came to attack, was the local group "Mama Cholly", a very specific, but charming one.
Sang, as you know, the hits of the Liverpool quartet.
What else can I say? And only that I personally was pleased to spin in the company of fans of the Beatles, in an atmosphere of utter friendliness. Thanks to Vitaly for this exhibition, even though I said that I would be more pleased with the pinkfloyd, I was very pleased nonetheless.
