The promising ground-based robot Milos was developed by the Military Technical Institute of Serbia specifically for the Ministry of Defense of the country. It is 1,7 meters long, 0,8 meters wide and 0,9 meters high. Gross weight is 620 kg., The device is designed for transportation in a trailer or trunk of an SUV. The speed of the robot is 7 km / h.


2017 version of the year


The Milos modular design, a combat module with a 7,62 caliber millimeter machine gun and ammunition for 500 ammunition and an ammunition counter is installed on the robot. A module with an automatic grenade launcher 40-mm can be installed. In addition, an optoelectronic camera with an 30 multiple magnification, a thermal imager with a digital 4 multiple magnification and a laser range finder are installed on the combat module. The operator can recognize the growth figure from a distance of up to 1000 m in the daytime, and up to 450 m - at night. The range of the laser rangefinder is 2 kilometers. The body of the robot is covered with ballistic armor.

For the first time, Milos was shown to the military in the 2017 year, but following the results of the tests, it received numerous comments, which took almost the year 2 to correct. The robot got rid of the grenade launcher installed in the same combat module with the machine gun, receiving instead an improved camera and a thermal imager.
