APU adopted the Spectator-M1 UAV with a "small ESR"

36
The Ukrainian concern Ukroboronprom, which cannot begin an audit after allegations of billions in theft, has published data on the adoption of a new UAV by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The press service of "Ukroboronprom" says that we are talking about drone Spectator-M1.

This UAV is used for reconnaissance from the air. Being equipped with thermal imaging equipment such intelligence, reportedly, can be conducted at any time of the day.

It is noted that the Spectator-M1 reduced weight in comparison with previous versions of this UAV. This makes it possible to increase the time of its use in carrying out the mission.

The press service of "Ukroboronprom" declare that "a specially selected color of the fuselage and a small EPR (effective dispersion area)" allow the UAV "to remain invisible to the enemy." It is added that the new control system makes it possible to use the Spectator-M1 during the use of EW tools.

This drone was created by the specialists of the scientific and technical center "Meridian" im.S.P.Koroleva.

Strange - the "center" has not been renamed yet.

they consider Korolev to be Ukrainian because of his maternal line, and that Ukraine raised the space program. No kidding.

Sergey Korolev was born on December 30, 1906 (January 12, 1907) in the city of Zhytomyr in the family of Pavel Yakovlevich Korolev (1877-1929), a Russian literature teacher, born in Mogilev, and the daughter of the Nezhin merchant, Maria Nikolaevna Moskalenko (Balanina) (1888-1980).
"Maria Nikolaevna [SP Korolev's mother] in 1918-1920 teaches French at the female gymnasium of the Third Society of Teachers and at the same time French and Russian at evening courses for women. And when schools began to open in Odessa, she began to teach Russian at schools No. 149 and 119, and then, in 1924-1925, at the courses of working youth of water transport. At the same time, she herself completed the one-year Higher Courses of the Ukrainian Language named after V. Naumenko. " Here is such an intelligent family of teachers. And grandfather and grandmother were typical Little Russians (as Ukrainians were called in RI)
They baptized him in the Sofia Church.
At the place of birth-RI, USSR, Ukraine. Zhytomyr-sovr. Ukraine.
Subjects who Korolev-Russian or Ukrainian-do not cease to this day. He was in prison and recorded himself as a Ukrainian. And in prison they filled him with Russian.
          Passport Koroleva

The great native of the city of Zhytomyr - made the USSR (his state) a space power.
I am proud that he was in my city (where his friend and associate Glushko was born), where he was instilled with a place about the conquest of heaven (and then space)

One can feel the "friendly helping hand of the Israeli, Canadian and state" drone masters. Kakly, themselves, would NEVER do it.
It’s time for the Russian defense industry to come up with effective anti-response measures
Russia lags behind in the fight against drones.
But this is a test of the Russian Armed Forces "for lice".

As I understand it, at a cost of $ 15 thousand per set, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received them much more expensive. Because the investigative authorities of the country are involved in the case. Although they may not have received it at all, because there was no information about the allocation of funds (and this is real money) for the purchase of such equipment

Well, if you knew what an EPR is, you would know that you can intentionally reflect a wave by moving it away from the radar. That is, that it would be reflected in any direction, but not in the direction of the radar that released it. According to this principle was built f-117

With modern radars, this no longer rolls, now you can only reduce the EPR, the shape of the aircraft + special coverage.

I won’t argue with the sofa expert either))) hi

You confuse the Doppler radar, which reacts to the movement of an object REFLECTING an electromagnetic wave, with the principle of reflection of an electromagnetic wave. It, in fact, is reflected due to the guidance in the conducting object of the TOKA, a wave incident on it. This current itself emits a wave of the same frequency. The higher the electrical resistance of an object, the less current is induced in it, and the weaker the reflected signal. Therefore, non-conductive - a sheet of dry plywood, for example - does not reflect EMW - it passes through it ...
Well and so on. And radar absorbing coatings are also materials with high but finite resistance. And the current is induced in them because of this - small. Here is a decrease in reflection ...
Well, very primitive ... It is intelligible?

A balloon is not visible on the radar. Corner reflectors are specially placed on them so that they can be seen by controllers and aircraft. If you haven’t been banned in Google, make a request.

In early 2014, the team of graduates of the aerospace faculty of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute created the company Polyteco Aero, which began the development of a compact reconnaissance mini-UAV Spectator for special forces of the Ukrainian armed forces. UAV development was carried out with the participation of employees of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute and using the scientific and production base of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute.
The project was sponsored by the V. S. Mikhalevich Foundation for Scientific and Technical Development of Ukraine.
UAV production was mastered by the Kiev enterprise of JSC Meridian named after S.P. Koroleva
The UAV is a direct-wing monoplane parasol with a T-tail, the hull of which is made of composite materials. Equipped with a low-noise electric motor with two-blade propeller.
The UAV is launched from the hand.
The UAV is equipped with an on-board video camera, the information from which is recorded on a memory card and can be studied after the end of the flight. In addition to the video camera, the UAV can be equipped with a camera, thermal imager or background radiation sensor.
The BpAK-MP-1 complex includes three Spectator UAVs, one ground control station, a radio antenna, a set of batteries and backpacks for equipment transportation. The deployment time of the complex and the preparation of the UAV for launch are about 10 minutes
Spectator-M1 is the third option that completed state tests at the end of February 2019. The UAV mass is reduced and it is equipped with the new Flir thermal imager. , which allowed to increase the duration of its flight
In addition, the drone received a new parachute system, which allowed to reduce the landing speed to 3 m / s.
Spectator-M1 rises to a height of 3600 meters, has a maximum speed of 120 km / h, the speed at which the task is performed is 70 km / h. The drone can be in the air for more than 2 hours. The complex is capable of transmitting video information in digitally encoded form, and the range of the Spectator-M1 is up to 150 km.
Now the specialists of OJSC "Meridian" them. SP Korolev "are preparing Spectator-M1 for serial production, which is planned to be deployed within the framework of the State Defense Order.
The first Spectator unmanned systems for the Ministry of Defense and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine were delivered back in 2015.
In general, students of the Kiev Polytechnic work.
By the way, at the dawn of aviation, Kiev "polytechnics" massively developed aviation. Lectures of the same Zhukovsky, which Nesterov himself attended before making his loop over Kiev.
