Russia seized the initiative in Moldova

83
On Friday and Saturday, statements from Chisinau began to arrive that private planes were taking off from the international airport of the Moldovan capital with a difference of just half an hour. These statements sounded simultaneously with publications about the departure from the republic of oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc, who led the Democratic Party of Moldova - the main force that had plundered Moldova in recent years.

President Igor Dodon

It was precisely this party that periodically, through the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova, suspended President Igor Dodon from exercising authority and adopted resonant laws and other decisions.

On airplanes departing from Moldova, the PDM representatives are oligarch Plahotniuc. The reason is that the PDM lost the reins of power after a unique precedent for the entire post-Soviet space - uniting the coalition of pro-Russian and pro-European political forces. Moldovan socialists and deputies from the association ACUM created a coalition in parliament.

The political forces of Plakhotnyuk suffered a crushing defeat. And now in the Republic of Moldova, which has recently been living in the conditions of the hardest political crisis, a new political reality.

How strong is the new coalition? This question today worries many of them in Russia.

Moldavian President Igor Dodon writes:

I welcome the decision of today's Constitutional Court to review the decisions rendered by 7-9 on June 2019. All defective legal interpretations that led to the political and institutional crisis in the Republic of Moldova were removed. The political and constitutional crisis was overcome. God willing!

Looking for someone. For Moldova or for individual politicians. For the Russian-Moldovan relations - yes, optimistic. But these relationships require huge investments, including cash. And it is unlikely that these investments will be from Moldova.
But it’s better to pay friends ’bills than to pay for a war with enemies.

Everything will be decided at the meeting of Dodon and Putin. It’s too early to talk about anything yet. Plahotniuc, although he has flown away, I’m sure he didn’t leave the idea to rob Moldova further, led by curators from Washington and Brussels.

They have already met more than once. I believe, I hope, everything is decided for them, at least for the near future. Now the floor belongs to the Moldovan parliament. Will Dodon, the parliament, be able to bridle him, that is the question.

Nothing particularly offensive to Romania has happened. There are no pro-Russian forces and parties in Moldova. They all stand firmly on the Russophobian platform, just someone openly, and someone secretly. Russia itself cannot offer Moldova anything that is why they abandoned Romania and the EU.

And after that Onishchenko, in a language that was accessible to him, began to explain to Moldovans that Euro-integrated apples, plums and wine should be sent a little in the other direction, and not to Russia.

Everything has already been decided at the talks between the Russian Federation and the USA. Dodon is essentially nobody. Plahotniuc was expelled by the US ambassador. And apparently it was a general decision of the United States, Russia and the EU. Plahotniuc got everyone. And even his proposal to Kozak to become pro-Russian no one bought. It was obviously impossible to believe him. It’s enough to recall that for many years Plahotniuc was the main sponsor of the Communists of Moldova, and when they lost, then instantly became pro-Western.
In Moldova there are territorial divisions between the pro-Western and pro-Russian electorate. They will remain. But the Plahotniuc system of power will now be torn by both sides.

I have not seen reports of negotiations between the Russian Federation and the United States on Moldovan issues.

In 2009, Voronin and the "communists of Moldova" first won once again. But then the April mass riots happened (by the way, a serious investigation - who, why, how? - arranged them, never happened), and these types of communists were given a powerful pendel in the ass. And Voronin, as in 1989, again set his tail between his legs and hid.

The initiative will be seized only when the people whom Plahotniuc has planted over the past 25 years are replaced. Dodon won in a country where all courts, all officials, security officials and the whole business are personally subordinate to Plahotniuc. And the current winners will face brutal sabotage from all sides, empty treasury, payment of external debt and severe pressure from Romania, the United States and the European Union. If Plahotniuc is not in prison, then he will continue to control all processes in the country. And so that his Romanians do not give out, he will fulfill any will of his curators. It's too early to rejoice.

I can imagine how Plahotniuc (Shor, Kandu, Filip, etc.), in the conditions of the strictest conspiracy, fled the country:
*** Nobody knew about this operation at all, he changed safe houses and passwords several times, but thanks to betrayal, the enemies tracked down the oligarch. The chase began, in the ensuing skirmish, the personal chef and doctor of the father of Moldavian democracy were vilely killed, but the thirst for life was stronger! Domnul Vlad did not surrender to the enemies: losing his strength, he tightened his shot arm with a bloodied bandage, on shoes at a price of 200.000 euros, fastened his cow hooves back in advance in order to deceive the pursuers. Of the last forces, limping on both rear, he was still able to scatter the shag from behind in order to knock off bloodhound dogs from the trail ... And here it is, native foreign land! Long live life and freedom! Salvage defeated evil! ***

Wasn’t it? Yes, laaad: they flew away freely and calmly, real estate was bought long ago, accounts were filled with stolen dough, lovers and dogs would catch up later. Nobody even thought of interfering with their departure and departure or (God forbid!) Forbid, close the border, etc. This suggests that nothing and no one ever interferes with their lives, and there is NO hope that they will be called to account. Fly doves, fly!
After all, it is known that "dear ones scold - only amuse themselves."

I believe that Europe and the USA are not simpletons and understand that they can lose with Plahotniuc and then Moldova will sharply move towards Russia, and by agreeing to make concessions, in coalition with Dodon, they leave their influence.
But, quite rightly, they will harm the pro-Russian moods without a doubt.

"" "... and then Moldova will sharply move towards Russia ..." ""

This will never happen. Moldova will not be able to move towards Russia. Especially sharply.
          111. Moldova is entirely dependent on external sponsors. She is in debt like silk. The urgent return of all debts is not yet required, but they imply "good behavior". At the slightest movement towards Russia, a financial leash with a rigid collar is immediately pulled.
          222. Dodon’s coalition partners are the ACUM pro-Romanian and pro-European bloc, which is under the direct control of Soros and the Romanian special services. They somehow managed together to deal with Plahotniuc, and now they will hold each other by the throat, and this coalition will fall apart in a few months.
          333. Russia has very weak positions in Moldova. Russia initially relied on Transnistria, focusing on keeping it in line with its policy. And with Moldova itself, Russia is practically not doing business. Yes, there, and actually the Russians remained 3-4% of the population over the age of 70 years.

I don’t understand why the author is in the euphoria of intercepting the Russian Federation?
Where does this flow? From a local showdown?
      Curtailing the course of Moldova?
And Moldova itself is not a neighbor of the Russian Federation directly.
      Wait and see.

          Pro-Moldavian politicians in Russia?
And where do they come from? Two millionth Moldova is too insignificant and poor to have its own lobby in Russia at any level.
For Moldova, I see two centers of power - Europe and Russia. And Moldova itself has always been a center of pressure - between the Ottoman and Russian empires. Wild field.
And if Moldova itself has practically zero value for Russia (after the annexation of Crimea),
then the pro-Moldavian politicians in Russia have nowhere to come from.

When I say that Dodon is Ulinich's man in charge of the "Russian vector" of Moldovan politics, they are ready to tear me to pieces - this is how the "friend of Russia" is loved. They read or heard that Dodon was "ours", and they believed it unconditionally, not knowing or understanding anything.

You complicate the picture of the world where everything is simple and clear. This is "pro-Russian" and means a good kid and the people are sure to support him .. only Brussels and Westerners interfere .. otherwise he would have done what he would have done.
And to understand that this one has become "pro-Russian" and the other one is "pro-Western" due to misunderstandings with Russian beneficiaries in this cheerful "scheme":

I am surprised at the optimism of Russia towards a coalition with a pro-European party, especially since the presidency in Moldova is exclusively fake and has no real power. Brussels won, and not the socialists and the West did not give up anyone, the West removed the odious and scandalous figure of Plahotniuc and put his man in power from the ACUM association.

Everything will be decided at the meeting of Dodon and Putin. It’s too early to talk about anything yet. Plahotniuc, although he has flown away, I’m sure he didn’t leave the idea to rob Moldova further, led by curators from Washington and Brussels.

But what can the meeting between Putin and Dodon solve, and nothing, because according to Moldavian laws, the President of Moldova decides little, he has already been deprived of the presidency more than once, the prime minister and parliament have real power in Moldova, the same president in Germany and the Queen of England, yes in a number of countries where the president is a formal leader, as in Japan, the emperor is a formal leader, so questions will need to be addressed with the prime minister.
