In Tatarstan, launched the eighth serial small rocket ship project 21631 "Ingushetia." The solemn ceremony was held on the territory of the JSC "Zelenodolsk plant named after A. M. Gorky".

In Zelenodolsk launched the eighth RTO 21631 project "Ingushetia"

The President of the Republic of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov was present at the ceremony of launching the ship, who in his speech stated that the republic would take patronage over the ship.

The small rocket ship "Ingushetia" is the eighth serial ship of project 21631 (code "Buyan-M"), built at OJSC Zelenodolsk Plant named after AM Gorky and should be part of the Black Sea after commissioning fleet. RTO was laid down on August 29, 2014 and was originally planned for commissioning in October 2018. However, due to the postponement of the delivery of small missile ships of project 21631 Vyshny Volochek and Orekhovo-Zuevo, which replenished the Navy in 2018, the completion of the construction of Ingushetia was postponed for 2019.

IRAs of this project are multipurpose ships of the river-sea class and are intended for the protection and defense of the economic zone of the state.

Key Features: Displacement 949 tons. 74,1 meter length, 11,0 meter width, 6,57 meter height, 2,6 meter draft. The speed of 25 knots. Sailing distance to 2500 miles. Autonomy 10 day. Crew 52 man.

Equipped with modern models of artillery, rocket, anti-sabotage, anti-aircraft and radio weapons. The main armament is the Caliber-NK long-range universal missile system with eight vertical shafts.

Currently, two more IRCs of this project are being built in Zelenodolsk - Grayvoron and Grad

Such a kid and 8 calibers, commendable

Perhaps there is a universal launcher in which you can load various ammunition, including Zircon! Then there will be a class!

With the death of the INF Treaty, the usefulness of these gunboats has greatly decreased, because now you can make land gauges.

It is always good when a present from the seas can fly to an adversary. And in this sense, their usefulness will always be, especially since different missiles can be pushed into a universal installation.

Why does he need Zircon. This is a sublittoral zone ship. His main task is to protect coastal waters, the open sea is not his element.

But why? This is a pretty slow boat - which has poor seaworthiness. Whom will he beat with Zircon? If that AUG which does not come so close to him. Beat any thread high-speed corvettes / different vassal boats, so Zircon is not needed. Yes, and he is seriously extremely vulnerable. For air defense (bending with MANPADS + AK-630M2 + A-190) will provide at best a reflection of a single launch, if it is consecrated well, then perhaps a couple of Harpoons / Exosets will be knocked down if they do not go to the ship at the same time.

As for the end of the INF Treaty, these ships will be buried, yes and no:
        1) Policy, as long as there is an installation not to place CDs on terrestrial carriers. That's when the Americans will bring axes or new BRDS to Poland / Baltic - then the political leadership will give the go-ahead for the answer.
        2) Not all tasks can be solved by ground installation. I repeat - naval carriers, using the freedom of navigation, can reach anywhere in the world, in any political and international situation (excluding an open war, the final one). And from there already act. Ground complexes are attached to carriers. Throw over the air? Corridors are easily closed. This is the sovereign right of any country that is recognized by Russia and the UN. Throw over the sea? To do this, again, you need a port of registry where a bulk carrier will be able to unload the mobile complex (and a country that would be so sanctioned) + you need to deploy a temporary contingent + this is a much more complicated operation.

I asked you when was the last time you walked along the Volga? .... it will not pass from the Black to the Baltic .... there are many places where the depths are 80 cm .... and there are barges and motor ships waiting for water to be discharged ... .

I do not go along the Volga. Ob is closer to me. I heard about the problems of the Volga, especially about the mistakes of this year. The level of the ox in the river is not constant. They will choose the most full-flowing period and drive Buyan to wherever required. It will be required urgently - they will adjust the level. This is a more pressing problem for those who constantly walk along the river. But Buyans drive occasionally.

Why would you? In the Volga, the water level fell, but not the bottom rose. Feel the difference. Villages and suburbs are built up to a normal level. Just in the spring, excess water was dumped from the reservoir in the hope of collecting snow from the pool, but it did not grow together ... The shallowing of this year is man-made. They closed the gates on the reservoir in order to raise the level in them. According to the media.

In case it is interesting. "The Unified Deep-Water System of the European Part of the Russian Federation (EGTS) is a system of inland waterways of Russia linking the White Sea, the Baltic Sea, Onega and Ladoga lakes, the Volga rivers, Moscow, Kama, Don, Caspian, Azov and The Black Sea, 6500 kilometers long, is formed by a complex of 741 hydraulic structures included in the Volga-Kama cascade of hydroelectric power stations, a cascade of hydroelectric complexes of the Don River, the Volga-Don and Volga-Baltic and White Sea-Baltic canals, which, in addition to the passage of ships and the generation of electricity, solve complex tasks of water supply, watering of rivers, maintaining the pressure front of reservoirs, protecting the territory and population from man-made disasters and floods [1]. The guaranteed depths along the entire length of the EGTS are not less than 4,5 meters [2], which allows not only river vessels to pass through it and river-sea class ships, but also small seagoing vessels, including warships and submarines on the surface or in a dock bar zhah .... Therefore, the Buyans do not go by themselves, but under tugs. Obviously with minimal variable load. Your "river-sea" draft is approx. 3,7 is obvious, with half the load of the sediment in the region of 2-2,5, the same with Buyan. Be that as it may, in 2017 the ship of this project was pulled along the Volga. You know about EGTS better than me, what is there to rest on a puncture in the regulation of the reservoir level this spring? Today it is shallow, in a month they will gain their 2,5-3 meters of level in the reservoir and the situation will improve. IMHO

All that is superfluous is to be sent to your colleagues on a barge, but it will be necessary to drive and tow the dock and ship into the dock barge. Your colleagues themselves say that the problem area is about 60 km and the Moscow Region has the means to overcome, because it is not the first time ....
