As stated, successful fire tests of the RK-360МЦ missile system with the Neptune anti-ship missiles with a range of 300 km made by the Kiev Luch design bureau were held at the military training ground in the Odessa region. During the tests, the work of a number of innovations in the design of the CU P-360, aimed at a significant increase in the effectiveness of weapons, was tested.
According to a popular report, the new P-360 rocket is equipped with a homing head, which allows the target to be captured in difficult maneuvering conditions. A new launch engine is installed on the rocket, which allows for more active output of the CU to the main flight segment. Increased controllability and maneuverability P-360 provide new wings and rudders of increased area.
In "Ukroboronprom" stated that the tested rocket is able to perform tasks in conditions of powerful use of EW by the enemy, bypass the enemy's air defense zone and destroy the target in the rear of the enemy with an unexpected blow.
State tests of the new anti-ship complex of ground-based with the Neptune cruise missile should begin in the near future. After adopting it, the developers will carry out work on the adaptation of missiles for ships and aviation. For the aviation version, they even found a carrier. It is reported that the missile will be launched from the Su-25 bombers of the Ukrainian Air Force.
