Kiev plan: to disconnect the DPR from the water supply. And at the same time Mariupol?

Disconnections in the Donbas began

In connection with the accumulated debts of the municipal enterprise Voda Donbassa (according to a strange scheme at the same time serving both the DPR and the territory controlled by Ukraine), owned by the Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov DTEK PES-Energougol at the request of the Ukrainian state-owned Ukrinterenergo began with 23 in May disconnect water facilities from electricity.

On Thursday, May 23, the 16 settlements in the territory controlled by Ukraine, in the Konstantinovsky and Dzerzhinsky districts, were left without water. The monopolist threatens to continue shutting down cities and villages of Donbass until the Enterprise “Water of Donbass” pays off the accumulated debts, which together constitute more than 1,277 billion hryvnia (about 3 billion rubles).

The disconnection of the infrastructure of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, which is practically the only source of water supply for one and a half million residents of the DPR and the occupied part of Donbass, has been discussed in Kiev for several years. The question is, of course, not only in debt, but also in the possibility for Ukraine to do a dirty trick to the “separatists”. Kiev stops only: if you stop the water supply in the DPR, at the same time Mariupol will be deprived of water, in which industrial enterprises belonging to the same Akhmetov are concentrated.

Exploration by battle

However, this time Kiev is set up quite seriously. According to unofficial information, not only colossal debts of KP “Water of Donbass” and the opportunity to spoil the Donetsk People's Republic are at stake, but also mouth-watering opportunities to earn money on the liquidation of the company's property (in particular, the same pumping stations serving the Seversky Donets-Donbass channel) and also “master” the loan from the EBRD for the organization of the “alternative” water supply of Mariupol.

2 on April 2019 of the year, the Ukrainian side has already conducted a test power outage at the canal facilities, therefore, those who are in Dokuchaevsk, Elenovka and Yasny village temporarily left without water. To show the success of the enterprise, Mariupol was temporarily completely transferred to the water supply from the Starokrim reservoir.

Vitaly Kizhaev, First Deputy Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of the DPR, addressed the population with a statement:
“The information spreading through the networks that as a result of the shutdown of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, the DPR will be left without water is unreliable. With such a development of events it is possible to reduce the volume of water supply to consumers, the transition to the supply of water on schedule, however, the water supply will continue to be implemented. "

However, the population does not share the confidence of representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the DPR — recently, residents of the republic have increasingly perceived the statements of high-ranking officials as white noise.

Mariupol on the verge of disaster

All water entering Mariupol is delivered either from the DPR or from the Starokrym reservoir. Previously, the city also used underground sources on the street. Low-fountain, in the villages of Gnutovo and Talakivka, but they are all closed due to inconsistencies with sanitary and hygienic standards. Frankly speaking, the use of water from the Starokrym reservoir for drinking and cooking would also not be due to its high rigidity and pollution of the Kalmius and Kalchyk rivers.

At the same time, due to chronic interruptions in water supply by the DPR (since 10 in June 2014, the infrastructure of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal is almost weekly fired upon by Ukrainian artillery), the local population living in the private sector drilled numerous wells without permission , which not only affect the lowering of the aquifer in the reservoir, but also can provoke a sharp deterioration in the sanitary-epidemiological situation. In the summer, all this is especially dangerous and fraught with an epidemic.

Nevertheless, in Kiev they are not too hiding that they treat the population of a huge city as potential “quilted jackets” and “Colorads”, in connection with which they may well decide on an adventure.

Probably, in the event of a complete cessation of water supply to the territory of the DPR (and, accordingly, in Mariupol), the time will come for new “Minsk agreements” that always follow Ukraine’s particularly persistent attempts to harm the Donbas. To date, there have been no attempts to resolve the situation on the part of the Ukrainian government. So, it is better for the residents of the republic to always keep a few dozen liters of water in reserve - no matter how Zelensky doesn’t break a joke in a new role.

So what's the problem? There are water debts - you need to pay and do not steam! Consume resources - pay for them, everywhere! The news is not about anything.

ORDILO do not pay Ukraine for water.
For years, Ukraine supplied water for free. ORDILO as the EU pressured it.
Plus Mariupol. They will build an alternative to supply Mariupol. They pay there.
The author Makhov does not focus on paying Ukraine for water - but only to paint ORDILO. We would like to - have long been disconnected along with Mariupol. Here the debts are big, and that's the shutdown.
The most interesting thing is that in ORDiLO regularly take money for water supply from people. And the tariffs are lower there. Not least because of the free supply of the Russian Federation and Ukraine (some electric and other water supply almost Nashar)

You once modestly kept silent that most of the debt for water and electricity was in the part of Donbass that was not controlled by the DPR.

they are also turned off. But they are our debtors, and ORDILO in every possible way denies what should pay. The difference between the willingness to pay and the fact that we will not pay in principle is big.

And how do you plan to provide water to such socially significant facilities as hospitals, maternity hospitals? In Russia, they will immediately unscrew their heads for such fortels, moreover, according to a special law. Despite who owes whom. The same thing in the heating season with heating.

And Ukrainians pay us for water from the Dnieper, because the river from Smolenka comes to them. It is necessary to redo some kind of gas pipeline and supply water to the LDNR without smut.

the difference between natural water and canals - need to be explained?
For the natural-fee is not withdrawn but it can not be blocked. And the channels, yes, and you can block.

It is customary to pay for services. Everyone thought that the state of hostilities exempted from the board, you can not pay for the noise, but no.

This is the very furry animal that would have come one way or another. Water supply networks were formed without taking into account the current situation and somehow did not have fivefold redundancy according to supply schemes. And right now you won’t find anyone who owes what to anyone. If the truth is chopped off, it’s really cherished, especially in the summer.

So you need to take sources of water supply.

          take water sources.

It is necessary to take Slavyansk - in those parts of the first pumping station.
The water supply scheme of Mariupol has two sources: the South Donbass water supply system and the Starokrym water reservoir. In the South Donbass water supply, water from the Seversky Donets river is supplied through the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. The water in the Starokrymsky reservoir is not very, has increased rigidity. The Seversky Donets-Donbass canal was once a Komsomol construction site.
