The Coast Guard in Kerch received two border guard ships
Reportedly, at the end of April, 2019 in Kerch successfully completed the running and state tests of the border guard ships of the 4 rank Korshun and Krechet of the 03050 project (Huyus code). Both patrol boats were built in the Rybinsk of the Yaroslavl region at the shipyards of the Shipbuilding Plant Vympel JSC and are the second and third ships of the 03050 project, transferred to the border guards.
The ships were laid at the beginning of 2018, and already in October they were launched: 11.10. - Kite and 17.10 - Merry. The lead ship of the Orlan series was laid on 24 on June 2016 of the year, launched on the 2017 of the year, and transferred to the Coast Guard of the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation based in Kerch. Currently, the fourth and fifth PSCR of the 03050 project are under construction in Rybinsk.
Project 03050 of a border patrol ship was developed by the Vympel design bureau jointly with the Central Marine Research Institute fleet (TsNIIMF) and is a further development of the project 1496M1 taking into account the wishes of the border service of the Russian Federation. PSKR combines the qualities of a patrol ship and a tugboat.
The ship’s total displacement is 112 tons, length / width / draft is 29,1 / 6,5 / 1,9 meters. Maximum travel speed - 18 nodes, autonomy - 10 days. Crew - 5 man. Armament - one machine gun (caliber not specified).
All five PSCRs built and still under construction in Rybinsk are intended to reinforce the Coast Guard of the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in the Black Sea, based in Kerch.
