The M1126 Stryker armored personnel carrier is intended mainly for the rapid delivery of infantry units and their immediate support on the battlefield. Accommodates 12 people, including three crew members. The armor is anti-bullet, withstands the hit of 14,5-mm caliber bullets and shrapnel, but can be strengthened by means of mounted armor, the bottom is reinforced by anti-mine protection. The 12,7-mm machine gun М2НВ or 40-mm automatic grenade launcher Mk 19 is in service. In both cases, the 7,62-mm M240 machine gun can be placed on a special adapter.
Stryker is a family of armored wheeled armored vehicles designed and manufactured by General Dynamics Land Systems, an American company. The M1128 Mobile Gun System wheeled tank, the M1129 Mortar Carrier mobile mortar and more than a dozen other types of combat, engineering and auxiliary vehicles were created on the basis of this platform.
