Indian pilot told about his stay in Pakistani captivity

91
The first statements after being released from Pakistani captivity were made by the Indian pilot of the MiG-21 aircraft, shot down a few days ago over northeast Pakistan. We are talking about a pilot named Abhinandan Warthaman, who the day before the Pakistani authorities handed over to India at one of the border posts. The Indian media then disagreed, saying that Islamabad had to open its airspace so that the Indian Air Force officer could fly to his homeland by plane.

Indian pilot told about his stay in Pakistani captivity

At the same time, the statements of the pilot himself were somewhat unexpected for Indian reporters.

Abhinandan Varthaman said that after he was shot down, he was discovered by residents of a Pakistani village. According to the former prisoner, the locals were extremely aggressive towards him.

From a statement by Warthaman:
I thought I needed to get rid of weapons (gun). I tried to run away from these people. At that moment, two Pakistani military men appeared, who actually saved me from these furious people.

The Indian pilot noted that during his imprisonment he was very well treated, provided the necessary medical assistance. He said that he was sent for examination to one of the hospitals.

Such statements by the pilot are somewhat inconsistent with the paradigm that they are accustomed to use with respect to Pakistan in the Indian media. Meanwhile, a large press conference is expected of Abhinandan Warthaman, where, as planned, he will tell about all the details of the air battle with aviation Pakistan. A separate question is, will this press conference be extremely frank?

Local sudras (laborers) behaved as it should, i.e. inflicted vile and
inept blows and naturally wanted to rob, one scoundrel tried on boots laughing the kshatriyas (warriors) arrived in time and drove off this rabble, and then nobly returned the kshatriyas to the enemy. This is also why they dislike the mob and treat it with contempt, they themselves deserve it - cowardly, but vile. Breeding however.

Do you think that if a Russian pilot was shot down over Georgia in 2008, would the locals behave differently? Or in 1941 would Soviet citizens begin to treat pancakes to the downed German pilot?

Alexander, the Germans were really treated to captives, although at that time pancakes were a luxury, but local residents fed bread and boiled potatoes, and the soldiers shared rations ... but only with those who did not scoff at the enemy, since they did not even get captured . An example is the Hungarian units near Voronezh, all in full force are buried ...

One of the pilots shot down over Georgia Tu-26, landed with a severed arm. The Georgians took him to the hospital, where Georgian doctors sewed his hand. This report was shown on TV before the war ended.

In theory, both Indians and Paks should understand that they are bleed. At the head of both countries are quite smart people now. The attack against the Indian police, to which Modi was forced to react and play with muscles, was intended to disrupt the construction of a pipeline from Iran through Pakistan to India. That is, 40 police officers killed stupidly to disrupt this project. And spinning conflict, India will play into the hands of customers. Pakistan has made enough gestures to suppress the conflict - now everything depends on the Indians. request

They recognized each other by the birthmarks in their groins, and one of the residents of a village in Pakistan turned out to be their mother, who fled from the lustful rajah at one time. Wing Commander Abhinandan Warthaman was Tamil by birth and was born on June 21, 1983, after completing flight training, he entered the Indian Air Force in 2004. He is the son of a retired Indian Air Marshal, Simhakutti Warthaman, who was, among other things, the chief test pilot of the Indian Air Force and, until his resignation in 2014, was in charge of the Indian side’s joint program with Russia to create a fifth-generation FGFA fighter (based on the T-50). The wife of the pilot Tanvi Marva is also a retired Indian Air Force officer with the rank of Svadron-leader (held ground positions).

Abhinandan Warthaman spent most of his career in the Indian Air Force flying as a Su-30MKI fighter pilot, but in the 51st squadron he flew MiG-21bis UPG (Bison) fighters. Apparently, Abhinandan Varthaman, judging by his rank, was the commander of this 51st squadron (based in Srinagar), but the Indian side is hiding his position. (source - bmpd)

Yes, quite right. Gypsies are a sect of priests and once the region that they controlled swept the protests and, together with their neighbors, the local population began to slaughter these same priests. Here they set off on the run. Using the rich experience of duping people and not knowing how to work, they tried to earn a living with it. But for a long time it didn’t work in one place, as they bothered the aborigines and they went to wander the world. Over time, accustomed to but also preserved some of the knowledge of their ancestors.

Gypsies from the North of India, crafts people. Migrated themselves - through the Persians, in the famine. Then spread around the world. Part of the people was engaged in fortune telling - but in ancient times it was a legitimate profession, which has survived until now because of the traditional way of life of their society. Before the revolution in Russia, they were merchants, artists and horse breeders. After the resolution, those who did not have time for the whites were forced to retreat to nomadic camps - so as not to be subjected to repression of the Red Terror.

A 1733 tax decree secures the right of Roma to live in Ingermanland. Before that, apparently, their status in Russia was not determined, but now they were allowed:
live and trade horses; and since they showed themselves to be local natives, it was ordered that they be included in the per capita census where they wanted to live, and put in a layout on the Horse Guards regiment

I think so too. Entered the air battle. Attacked.
Catapulted. Capturing is not a shame in such a situation.

Yes, I liked the fact that he spoke honestly. We will see the conference, if he does not change his testimony, then respect will be added to him. By the way, it seems to me that he will fly, there seems to be no compression fracture.

I do not understand the banter of the forum users about this battle. So the MIG-21 is 20 years older than the F-16. The pilot is really a master and a hero. And besides, he advertised our aircraft and lowered American land from heaven to heaven. In the literal and figurative sense.
