In Blagoveshchensk laid a large hydrographic boat for the Pacific Fleet
Reportedly, the laid boat became the fifth hydrographic vessel ordered by the Pacific Fleet in the Blagoveshchensk Shipyard. However, unlike the ones built earlier, this large hydrographic boat (BGK) will be distinguished by more modern electronic equipment. A three-beam echo sounder will be installed on the vessel, thanks to which it is possible to study the topography of the bottom, as well as a navigation system capable of automatically plotting the course for the vessel according to the specified parameters. Transfer of the boat to the customer is planned at the end of the 2020 year.
The boat is designed to perform hydrographic and pilot works in coastal areas. The vessel will be able to deal with the delivery of scientific groups and special equipment up to 15 tons to the unequipped coast.
The boat is named after Alexander Anishchenko, a famous hydrograph who devoted his life to serving the motherland. During the Great Patriotic War, he fought in the Baltic Fleet.
