The Indian proprietary supersonic fighter Tejas has finally received the final approval of the Indian aviation regulator for use as part of the country's Air Force. This is reported by the TV channel NDTV.
According to the TV channel, the solemn ceremony of the transfer of the relevant operational documents was held as part of the Aero India-2019 aerospace exhibition held in Bangalore, India these days. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the country's Ministry of Defense and the developer company Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Indian Air Force commander Marshal Birendra Singh Dhanoa called getting the Tejas fighter a permit to be used in the country’s air force as an "important milestone" not only stories combat aviation India, but also industry in general.
