Australian-Estonian combat ground drone presented at IDEX-2019
Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment IDEX 2019 in Abu Dhabi in full swing. Hundreds of manufacturers from different countries of the world are in a hurry not only to present their products, but also to do everything to sign lucrative contracts for their purchase by one or other customers. One of them is company cooperation. EOS (offices in Australia, USA, Germany, etc.) with Milrem robotics (main office in Tallinn). Electro Optic Systems и Milrem robotics presented at the exhibition ground unmanned combat system RWS-THeMIS, equipped with 30-mm gun.
The vehicle is a unified platform THeMIS, the combat module on which is equipped not only with an ATK M30 LF 230-mm cannon, but also a mm 7,62 -GMG machine gun (L7A2-L7An). The manufacturer reports that the rocket launcher (ATGW) can be integrated with the platform.

This remote-controlled unmanned vehicle increases the firepower of the ground forces; situational awareness thanks to modern sensors; increases the distance of confrontation. It is especially effective against light armored cars. It can be used to patrol the area.
