Shipyard Severnaya Verf: Corvette of the 20386 project “Daring” built on 12%

The shipyard "Severnaya Verf" continues the construction of the 28 pledged on 2016 of October, the 20386 corvette of the Daring project, the technical readiness will be 12% by the end of February, according to a press release sent to Military Outlook.

Shipyard Severnaya Verf: Corvette of the 20386 project “Daring” built on 12%

According to the press service of the Severnaya Verf shipyard, at the moment the second and third blocks of the hull are formed, the formation of sections of the first block continues. After the docking of the blocks, the installation of the foundations, the laying of pipelines, and the installation of bottom-side reinforcement will begin. In March, the corvette is planned to be transferred from the slipway to a regular berth, by which time the bow sections will be docked to the formed hull. The gas turbine unit manufactured by NPO Saturn for the corvette will arrive at the CVD this fall. Launching is scheduled for spring 2021 of the year.

The small patrol ship of the 20386 project (corvette) is intended for conducting combat operations in the near and far sea zone. According to the developers, the peculiarity of the new corvette is a balanced composition of weapons, integrated information and control systems of open architecture, new electronic weapons, robotic systems. Also a feature of the project is a reduced number of crews, increased cruising range, high full speed at calm water and developed sea state. The 20386 project is based on the principle of modularity, which consists in equipping the ship with temporary armament, which allows the range of tasks to be expanded.

Earlier in the "Military Review" under the heading "Opinions" an article was published devoted to the 20386 project - "Worse than a crime. Construction of the corvettes project 20386 - error "

They actually began to build the corvette in November of the 2018 of the year, although they laid it in October of the 2016 of the year. During these years, the construction of the corvette was practically not carried out.
        "
We are carrying out scheduled work on the corvette: the Severnaya Verf hull assembly shop has finished cutting the metal of the main hull structures, the workers are now assembling the bottom sections of the first block of the ship. The slipway shop has finished assembling the outer skin of the second block, continues to form the inner enclosures and decks, "Igor Ponomarev said about the construction of Daring.

Well then, that changes things radically. And then, I was also surprised ... And I thought, we need to send our brigade to reinforcement. Although it is quite possible that we will visit there. While here with "Karakurt" turbidity is going on.

they didn’t hang up, but they provided complete rest from their position and occupational therapy in remote places, plus they also hung the family's stigma - “the family of an enemy of the people”, and this is still on light charges, but mostly a bullet from a revolver in the back of the head. ..

20386 have the same turbines as 22350.
So the delays are quite objective.
And so - the first surface ship with partial electric propulsion.
I like. I look forward to being 100% ready to appreciate. hi

Sergei hi So not interesting. By the way, they write that the next frigate of the 22350 project will soon be laid. These frigates were to be built in a series of 8 units to replace the old Soviet 1155 BODs. 1155 BOD is already knocking out the rest of the resource.

These 8 units of frigates are very necessary for the fleet. Of the 8 units of the BOD 1155 "Admiral Kharlamov" and "Admiral Levchenko" have fully exhausted their engines. BOD 1155 "Admiral Kharlamov" began to be disassembled for parts. He was driven into a dock on Nerpa (Snezhnogorsk). They will remove the whole Polynom fairing and put the Vice-Admiral Kulakov ship on a large anti-submarine icebreaker instead of the crumpled one ...

Well, you remember, the whole problem was in the engines from Ukraine. Therefore, all dates are shifted to the right by 2 of the year. But now the plant in St. Petersburg has been launched and Russia itself can already produce engines.

Turbines for frigates 22350 from the very beginning did in Rybinsk. Saturn made turbines, Kolomna made diesel engines, then it was sent to Zorya, who added her gearbox and gas generator, tested the complete assembly at her stand and sent it to St. Petersburg. It is necessary to import not so much a turbine, but a Ukrainian gearbox, which is part of the DGTU. And Zvezda has not finished assembling the first gearbox.

No one planned to build 11356 design gas turbine units. This is the last generation and the only producer in the world of Zorya. With a scratch, they fixed their repairs on their own. Any replacement is OCD. This is a lot of money. Moreover, remaking the engine rooms of the frigates of the 11356 project alive, with unification of energy with 22350, will be very expensive. Today we have three unfinished frigates at Yantar - Butakov, Istomin and Kornilov. Two cases of them are made with an engine room for Ukrainian turbines. They were sold to the Indians. If Russia can make a gas turbine engine in time for only one frigate project, then they need to be done for the latest 22350.

It’s certainly ... but there are moments. For example ... the 20386 project is not very successful, compared to the 20285, which is more armed. And the second ... on the frigates of the 22350 project. They want 15 boards, but what about the 22350M project? And they need at least 20 to start on all fleets.

Apparently, the "serial" with a single, each time "final" appearance of the corvette for the Russian Navy is not over yet. We will wait for project 20387, project 20388 and so on. Krylovtsy, over there, that year a "corvette" with sixteen cells of the UKSK was presented (and at the stand they wrote that with twenty-four)

In the shipbuilding industry? Without a chance - there and during the IVS they did such a thing that you are amazed. For example, they handed over the ship to the fleet, and after that they put it to the factory wall and brought it to mind for three years. Or they handed over the cruiser practically without air defense - the guns are standing, but there is no control system. Or the previously laid battleship was dismantled on the slipway - due to the mass marriage of rivets.
After the war, the famine didn’t sell the construction of new projects of ships that the fleet needed, but ships of pre-war projects, which were not of special combat value, but which could be massively built and reported on the fulfillment and overfulfillment of plans. It is as if the People’s Commissariat of the tank industry invited the army in 1945 instead of the T-54 to continue the production of the T-34 (okay, T-34-85) and KV-1S.
