This week, shelling in the DPR has increased again, and in the LPR, they continue to grow for the fifth week now. The main exacerbation takes place on the southern front and in the suburbs of Donetsk, and in the LPR near Pervomaisk and Sokolniki.
And ours also came to answer, albeit briefly. So to say, to understand the essence of things ... Unfortunately, with the growth of shelling, there were no casualties, destroyed houses and communications. Once again, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired upon the water pumping station and again the workers had to wait for the shelling in the basements.
In the Republics, regular exercises are held to counter the possible offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The next exercise with shooting took place in the LC. The video below is in the summary.
In just the past week, the APU fired at the DPR 120 times. The shelling was carried out in areas of nineteen settlements of the Republic with mortars 120 caliber and 82 mm, weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small weapons.
In just the past week, the APU fired at LC 42 times. In total, more than 520 mines and shells were fired throughout the Republic. The area of settlements: Lozovoe, Kalinovka, Logvinovo, Sanzharovka, Veselohorovka, Kalinovo, Kalinovo-Borshevoye, Molodezhnoye, Zolotoe-5, Golubovskoe, Donetsky, Zhelobok, Sokolniki, Pribish, Bold.
From 1 to 7 February 2019, 4 soldiers of the Republic were killed in the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic.
5 February, in the area of n. Staromikhaylovka, air defense units NM DPR destroyed one UAV APU.
5 February, in the area of n. Water, during the use of alcoholic beverages, one of the militants of the 79-th airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for fun, threw a RGD-5 grenade into the next trench. As a result of the grenade explosion, two militants received fragmental wounds.
5 February, in the area of n. Taramchuk in the area of responsibility of the 28 th mechanized brigade during an attempt by the military to disassemble the ammunition an explosion occurred. As a result, one militant was killed and two were seriously injured.
5 February, in the area of n. Experienced, in the area of responsibility of the 57 motorized infantry brigade in a position called "Cook", the militants conducted an indiscriminate shelling of our positions, one of the drunken terrorists accidentally fired a grenade launcher into its trench. As a result, three militants were injured.
DNR:
In the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical grouping "Vostok", a sabotage group from the 3-th separate special-purpose regiment under the command of Junior Lieutenant Kopiman arrived in Volnovakhsky district. The saboteurs have previously been trained by American and Canadian instructors. The commander of the OTG "Vostok" Moysyuk plans to use the saboteurs transferred to him into submission on this section of the contact line for conducting a combat sortie.
In addition, two sniper pairs commanded by Major Barbarich from the 79-th separate special forces regiment arrived in the area of responsibility of the 3 airborne brigade in the Mariupol area. Snipers received the task of the Ukrainian occupying command at the appointed time and in certain areas, which will be brought in addition, to carry out shelling in order to provoke a return fire from our side. Coordinate their actions will be the head of the intelligence department of the detachment headquarters, Mr. Makarov.
