Ka-62 multipurpose helicopter will receive a new communication complex

The delivery of C-404 communication complexes for equipping Ka-62 multi-purpose helicopters will start from 2020, the holding's press service reported. Currently, the complex is installed on a helicopter and is undergoing preliminary tests, which should be completed by the end of this year.

According to the developers, the on-board communication system of the new generation C-404 ensures continuous communication of pilots with the ground via several channels and constant reception of signals at the emergency frequency. He independently controls his work, adapts to the signal quality, virtually eliminating the possibility of loss of communication. The antennas of the complex are built into the skin of the helicopter.

The Ka-62 multipurpose helicopter was developed by Kamov based on the Ka-60 military modification. Depending on the configuration, it can be used for the transport of passengers, as a transport or medical helicopter. In addition, due to the large practical ceiling and high thrust-ratio of the engines, Ka-62 can also carry out search and rescue and evacuation work in mountainous areas.

It’s a pity we have it badly. To fill the civilian sector with military know-how. The situation may improve over time.

The principle of organization of production is different. In the military sphere, cost and labor intensity are secondary to quality, while in the civilian sphere, price-quality balance is the most important factor

This is understandable, but it somehow does not get any easier.

What are you talking about? If about the interior decoration for comfort - then yes, and as for everything else - the build quality is absolutely the same.

So there is no dispute in the commentary on this, just in the civilian sector they are not ready to seek quality of any value.

And the military does not achieve quality at all costs. For production, this is the main criterion. And the manufacturer knows that if the military representative does not accept at least one piece of equipment, the entire batch will be rejected. Does he need it? So the military has appropriate quality control. Well, the fact that military technologies are being sneaked into civilian production is a big minus to the relevant ministries.

You are talking about the same thing. And the conclusion is the same.
In general, what is not clear to me.

No, not about the same thing. I will quote your words again
just in the civilian sector Not ready to seek quality of any value.

And I say that "any price" is not at the forefront of the manufacturers of military helicopters, because these are people's lives. And it is not necessary to separate in this respect the production of military and civilian helicopters. Or do you think that the military is doing on the principle of "just fly"?

I don’t know what you are writing, arguing with and with whom. But it is obvious that the military has higher priorities. And this is exactly what is written in the commentary. Read it again. If only I flew, I don’t know where you read it.
It’s more like just getting smart from scratch.

To what? - Americans are forced out of the market. It is quite realistic when superiority in performance characteristics is already achieved. We are not yet convincing in the quality and service of technology for third countries, with the exception of Mi-8/17.

However, GDP clearly outlined the strategy of defense industry enterprises — at least 50% of civilian products. Enterprises in the military sector cannot live solely on the basis of military developments. And I suppose that's right.
At the same time, the defense industry also stimulates civilian industries. For every worker in the military sphere, there are from 7 to 10 employees of NOT military industries providing his work.

You understand that this is desirable. average figure. In individual sectors (the same helicopter industry), this is quite achievable. And in enterprises, for example, the production of ammunition (KAB, torpedoes, NURSy)?

Good communications dramatically increase the dignity of the helicopter. Probably these communication systems will go to other equipment.

But will he ever get a domestic engine, gearbox and the whole domestic transmission?

The ideology of Ka-62 itself is to make a competitive helicopter taking into account the wishes of the target group - oil workers.

Therefore, the domestic engine and gearbox = minus all customers, which by the way, however, are not really crying . They gave birth too long. Those for whom they made a helicopter bought Augusta and invested in a screwdriver assembly on Heliverth. The total volume of contracted 200 + machines - which Kamov lost. Also, foreign customers did not wait - the Brazilians canceled the contract and bought Bella - even under the previous president (well, as Dilma was overthrown and the contract was canceled).
