Shoigu told about the delivery dates of the first serial Tu-160M with NK-32-2

Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu today, while on a visit to the Republic of Tatarstan, discussed the development of the Aerospace Forces. In particular, Shoigu noted the importance of work on bringing the serviceability of weapons, military and special equipment to regulatory requirements.

A separate topic of discussion was the program for entering the modernized strategic Tu-160M strategic bomber into the Russian Aerospace Forces. According to the country's defense minister, the first serial strategist of the Tu-160M should go to the troops in 2021. It is noted that the work on the modernization of strategic bombers is carried out in accordance with the schedule. This is, in fact, an important clarification, especially if we consider that many programs for creating new equipment or upgrading existing ones are often delayed in terms of implementation. I would like to hope that the modernization program of the Tu-160M will not follow the described path.

The Minister of Defense noted that the upgraded bomber is equipped with the latest defense complex, communication system. Also on the Tu-160M installed engines NK-32 second series (NK-32-2).

Shoigu told about the delivery dates of the first serial Tu-160M with NK-32-2

These engines can significantly increase the radius of application. Engine developer is SNTK them. N. D. Kuznetsova.

It’s good that the Soviet backlog was saved .. A similar engine from scratch would be done extremely long now.

Set yourself as a lieutenant for Shoigu and begin to give him advice: What and to whom he can be told, and what and to whom not.

Well, for whom did Shoigu say this?

Here the point is different: the wave of information with which Shoigu pours his "damned partners" only leads to the fact that they are overwhelmed by a feeling of confusion :: they see that the Russians are now doing what they already work well (remember their tantrums about hypersound :: first giggles and bullying, then a blow to the brain by the Unit and the strongest despondency). Poseidon also requires attention and a global tracking system. It is necessary to somehow counteract the S-400, S-500 - and how, with what, what else did these Russians stuck there, what we don't know yet - and if we don't know, then from which side to come!?!
And gradually, step by step, the Americans begin to understand their backwardness - after all, they don’t have a Tu-160M class strategist (just as there is no X-101, 102!). They also do not have Yars and Sineva, but they were able to modernize the ancient rusty Tridents - and there is already not enough strength on the Minutmen!
So after all, besides that, they don’t have so many good brains to cover everything that the Russians are doing and what should be counteracted, but how and with what!?.
This, after all, as the Americans used to give us SDI, we had all our ANs on our ears for a year, until it came to understand that the Americans had divorced us as schoolchildren. But it was there that in the brainstorming sessions and detachment workshops on discussions of the principles of SDI and possible methods of counteraction, the foundations were laid of what allows Russia to keep our defense system in good shape and put customers in long-term queues.
And if all this weren’t under the control of NOT the state, but the Ave (against which the liberoids are so fiercely opposed!), Then ALL would have been sold out for a long time and the request (oops!) Ano in the West ...

They put a similar one on Tu 144 - they consumed fuel from tanks because of this and refused it, they had to make a combination - a conventional fan jet engine, plus ramjet on a kerosene + oxygen couple - liquefied, take-off on jet engines - a supersonic flight on ramjet, one a ton of kerosene costs 56000 rubles, one cubic meter of liquid oxygen costs 9000 rubles — fuel consumption would be 50% less than that of the Tu 144, and more than three times less in fuel cost.

Turbojet engines, with the desired bypass ratio, for supersonic, have greater efficiency than direct-flow, and especially rocket.

Well, firstly, no one has ever used a ramjet in civil aviation, and the consumption is reduced because air flow and kerosene with oxygen in a proportion of 50, 30 and 20 will be mixed in the ramjet chamber, oxygen is needed for a more efficient "price work" of the engine associated with a decrease in volume consumed kerosene, the fuel consumption is half that of the turbojet engine that stood on the Tu 144 - which burned a large amount of kerosene per unit volume of air - the more air-fuel mixture you enter into the combustion chamber per unit of time, the more engine power, in a ramjet, unlike everyone else has a significant advantage in this regard and, most importantly, it is simple in design and operation and, accordingly, the weight of the carried fuel is less, for comparison, the turbofan NK 32 2 costs 1,5 billion rubles, and the ramjet engine 50 million. And about the explosiveness of liquefied oxygen - it is the same like kerosene.

Well, in the first ramjet in civil aviation, no one has yet used

Because ramjet has advantages above 2M. But it is still impossible to build civilian aircraft at such a speed - nobody is interested because of the sheer cost.
                Quote: Vadim237
and the flow rate decreases because in the ramjet chamber air flow and kerosene with oxygen will be mixed in the proportions of 50, 30 and 20,

Do you think that in a turbojet engine the fuel does not completely burn out and therefore the addition of oxygen will help him? But I’m grieving you, in ramjet the burning time within its combustion chamber is much less, therefore it’s more unburned and no oxygen will help. It is necessary to increase the pressure and, accordingly, the temperature, which will increase the efficiency of the Carnot cycle and reduce the combustion time. But there are problems with the temperature, since they have not yet invented new tricks for working materials at temperatures and pressures above the yield threshold, but they have not really learned how to use force fields to hold plasma and it will be completely uninteresting to cost.
And most importantly, power is proportional to the heat (heat output) and you can’t save fuel in any case with much worse efficiency.
                Quote: Vadim237
fuel consumption is half that of the turbofan that stood on the Tu 144 - which burned a large amount of kerosene per unit volume of air

                Where did you measure it?
The air / fuel ratio has already been debugged by practice.
And in general - the question is left-wing and does not solve the issue of power and efficiency.
                Quote: Vadim237
the more air-fuel mixture you enter the combustion chamber per unit time, the greater the engine power

To do this, you stupidly need to raise the pressure and temperature, and this is now at the limit of the materials of the combustion chamber.
                Quote: Vadim237
in contrast to all others, ramjet ramps have a significant advantage in this regard, and most importantly, it is simple in design and operation and, accordingly, the mass of lugged fuel is less,

In your case, you also came up with oxygen equipment, which will be more complicated than the ramjet itself. You already forgot about the mass of cylinders and transported oxygen. Lost a thought?
                Quote: Vadim237
for comparison, turbofan engines NK 32 2 costs 1,5 billion rubles, and ramjet 50 million.

Yes Yes. Because of their cheapness, stupid little people don’t make them, but grandmas stupidly saw on expensive turbojets. Are you from this planet or have you flown?
                Quote: Vadim237
And about the explosiveness of liquefied oxygen - it is the same as that of kerosene.

In fact, oxygen is just an oxidizing agent and it alone cannot explode - it needs fuel. And this fuel can be some metals (aluminum, titanium, ...) or organics (humans).
Under pressure, in an oxygen environment, many substances begin to burn without any arson. The conditions for a chemical oxidation reaction are simply realized. And at atmospheric pressure (gas welders are very respected) they ignite with an explosion of oil and ..... Ie when there is an oxygen leak, within the plane, you will always find a substance that ignites itself and starts the combustion of everything else.

Who told you such nonsense? Argument. So why don't they hang around and don't do what they want, if they can? We've read a lot of tales about "stealth". Some old garbage was shot down in Yugoslavia back in-2. And don't say that the missile hit by accident. This does not happen. The F-22 is no better than the F-35, which is perfectly visible on radar, as even the US military themselves say. That's why they began to design the 6th generation aircraft. All the rest is unsubstantiated speculation, which is exactly what your statements are.

If we are talking about an American fighter of the 6th generation, then it plans to release it at best without shifting to the right, which is unlikely in the early 2030s.

by the time production starts in 2021, it will lag behind the 6th generation airplanes which the mattresses plan to start producing in the same year.

They would have brought the fifth generation "to mind", and not "to the handle." How many 35 have already been released, but he, the female dog, still does not want to fly normally. And two years before 2021, the sixth generation of the Yusovites will design, build, bring and launch the series? Well, well, as a child, I also believed in fairy tales. Moreover, now the Soviet progressive methods of accelerating work, which are expressed in the concentration of designers in special protected places, are not used.

It is good when senior officials make forecasts. But no one is responsible for the timing. Budget money, as usual, sawed and that’s it. We no longer recall T-50 aircraft, Armat tanks, Vostochny spaceport, destroyers, aircraft carriers, and much more. In order to create something fast and the best in the world, the leader of the country must be the new genius Joseph Vissarionovich.
