The new Mi-26Т2В is ready for state joint tests

According to the press service, the preliminary flight tests of the Mi-26Т2В were successful. Currently, the Ministry of Defense together with the holding is developing a program of state joint tests (ICG), and according to the plans of the military department, at the beginning of the second quarter of this year, it will begin testing. Serial production, as previously reported, is scheduled to expand this year.

The new Mi-26Т2В helicopter differs from the basic Mi-26 model by the presence of an integrated on-board radio-electronic equipment complex, which is able to automatically perform en-route flight, exit to a predetermined point, landing approach, as well as preparatory maneuvering and return to the main or alternate aerodromes. In addition, the helicopter is equipped with a digital aerobatic complex, an onboard defense complex "Vitebsk".

The upgraded Mi-26Т2В still has an eight-blade main rotor with a diameter of 32 m with a swept area of more than 800 sq.m. With a maximum take-off weight of up to 56 and a helicopter, the helicopter can lift into the air 20 and cargo, both inside the cabin and on the external sling.

According to the statement of the Russian Helicopters, the new modernization of the helicopter is intended for the Russian Ministry of Defense and is not an export one.

and this is correct, although when they are adopted and the series goes on, there will probably already be an export version !!

On the contrary, the Moscow Region looked that the T2 is much more interesting than the cheap version that they ordered earlier. And I decided to order myself. Actually B is a version under MO = export Т2.
6 machines are already in Algeria

      Several in Jordan

One thing is not clear in this news. How will Ukrainian engines buy for this helicopter? Through third countries? The domestic engine will not appear very soon.

Well, so there it seems like PD-12V is planned (according to it, everything seems to be "in full swing") .... In the meantime, "court and business" from stocks MO will put D-136 (like there are enough of them) ....

Well, at the expense of export - this is a revised version of T2 to the requirements of a domestic customer.

The basic version of T2 - even with Vitebsk = it is for sale. Algeria - 6 cars, Jordan - a few.

For some reason, about "Motorsichevskie" engines is modestly silent. So far, I have found that it is supposed to use PD-12V, which will have to replace the Ukrainian D-136, but in the distant 2025.

So we didn’t declare war on them! It’s they who shout about aggression, but at the same time they want to transit our achressork gas only through themselves, and they also buy fuel from Russia, and so on.

There is a certain supply of engines. Orders are pretty small. In fact, after the breakup, they built an 1-2 helicopter (for consumers under sanctions). Therefore - does not burn. Especially for foreign customers (Algeria, Jordan) - they purchase directly.

The takeoff mode of any turntable depends on the takeoff weight. When empty, it will "jump" from its place, and when loaded, it is more economical and safer to take off "by plane". hi

          ============
Well, this depends on several factors - on the load and on the height (platform) above "sea level". In Afghanistan, for example - not only "Crocodiles" but also "Bears" sometimes took off like an airplane and even landed (this is true for another reason - dustiness!). On the BV, by the way - also precisely because of the dustiness! There are such places - the "turntable" will hover at 10-15 meters and in a second or two - not like the ground - the "turntable" itself - is not visible !! So they sat down like an airplane (leaving a plume of dust behind ...)

Yes, in general, it does not really confuse him ... Just when taking off "on the front landing gear", the rotor of the rotor REALLY leans forward strongly (of course along with all "verushka") ...
Well, "almost like an airplane" in terms of layman - it's just a "very short run"!

Actually, the screw does not "tilt" - the screw sleeve is "dead" and the gearbox is also. There is a structural tilt forward and to the right. But each blade can "walk" in the longitudinal, transverse hinges - the "dead" mount is unacceptable due to variable loads. There is also an axial hinge for changing the cyclic pitch of the blade. This is how the helicopter is controlled in roll and pitch - step in a cycle. And there is also a bend of the blade. And so that the casing does not warp or break, the blade is made in sections with gaskets. One-piece spar only. Take a look at the photo - the distant Mi-6 is just accelerating in the plane.

          the truth was wonderful

It's not wonderful. It would be even more "weird" if you saw how sokonosity is achieved after replacing a set of blades. Conicity is to make the blades go in a circle exactly in the cone, without falling out of it at low throttle and with "right correction". Take a long stick, tape a piece of Whatman paper with a tube. The tips of the blades are smeared with crayons. They start it - and touch the ends with a drawing paper on a stick. By the lines they see how the blades go. Then adjust the length of the rods from the swashplate to each blade, changing the angle of installation. At the final stage, the plates are bent at the trailing edge of the blade. wink If one blade falls out of the cone - a characteristic whistle is heard. Yours faithfully... hi

So there is a norm - put 20 mm strips for Mi-8, you won’t be screwed. Although I don’t really remember. Ours did directly in part. Artists, damn it.

This was an isolated case. And they flew twice a day. Why did I remember, the red-headed captain redirected such a briefing, I don’t remember the 88 or 87 board: Gentlemen, military, welcome to Dangerous Airlines, don’t lean on hatches, don’t touch the sides of the arms, sit on the shmurdyak and don’t twitch that something will happen, pilots will understand without you! Please, whatever happens, stay in place. And here a hundred gavriks sit and watch how the cardan of the tail beam spins, unlike MI 8, where the drive is closed.)))
