The reaction in Kiev on the arrival of Ksenia Sobchak
176
Former presidential candidate of the Russian Federation Ksenia Sobchak arrived in Kiev. The fact that Sobchak had previously been entered by Ukrainian radicals into the database of the Peacemaker extremist website, whose work is supervised by Western intelligence agencies, brings a piquancy to this event.
The inclusion of Sobchak in the list of "Peacemaker" was held in connection with the fact that in Kiev, the Russian TV presenter and part-time politician was accused of "justifying the occupation of the Crimea." At the same time, Sobchak herself repeatedly stated on the Russian TV channels and in social networks that “Crimea de jure belongs to Ukraine, but de facto Kiev will not be able to return it”. Ksenia Sobchak also offered to hold a referendum on the Crimean status both in Russia and in Ukraine.
Arriving in the Ukrainian capital, Sobchak wrote in "Instagram":
Well hello, kiev!
This spelling of the name of the capital of Ukraine does not apply, of course, neither in Russian, nor that it attracts special attention, nor in the Ukrainian language.
It is noteworthy that Ksenia Sobchak reacted in the political and near-political circles of Ukraine itself upon arrival in Kiev.
The assessments are diametrically opposed — from a proposal to start cooperation with the “Russian opposition politician” to “immediate arrest for justifying the occupation of the Crimea.” At the same time, there was a Ukrainian interest in who Sobchak is going to support in the upcoming elections of the Ukrainian president. It is suggested that "exactly Poroshenko."
