Press tour on training flights of long-range aviation pilots and to the long-range aviation museum
The online press club of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation invites bloggers and journalists of the print media to the press tour for training flights of long-range pilots aviation (43rd center for combat use and retraining of flight personnel) and the Museum of Long-Range Aviation.
Press tour will take place 14 June 2012, in Dyagilevo (Ryazan, Ryazan region).
In 1955, the Dyagilevo airfield was one of six airfields in the USSR capable of receiving M-4 bombers. Later it developed as a long-range airfield.
The Long-Range Aviation Museum was established in 1975. The museum presents some types of aircraft side weapons, aircraft models, as well as such airplanes as Tu-16, M-4, Tu-22K, Tu-22М2, Tu-22М3 and Tu-95К.
The participants in the press tour will be able to familiarize themselves with the preparation of aircraft for training flights and combat use, to observe the training flights of long-range aviation pilots on Tu-22М3 and Tu-95MS aircraft (preparation, taxiing, take-off, flights, landing) and during training of pilots on the Tu-22М3 and Tu-95MS aircraft simulators.
It is possible that on the day of the press tour there will be a rally of front-line aviation planes involved in the preparations for the air festival dedicated to the 100 anniversary of the creation of the Russian Air Force.
