Press tour on training flights of long-range aviation pilots and to the long-range aviation museum

The online press club of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation invites bloggers and journalists of the print media to the press tour for training flights of long-range pilots aviation (43rd center for combat use and retraining of flight personnel) and the Museum of Long-Range Aviation.

Press tour will take place 14 June 2012, in Dyagilevo (Ryazan, Ryazan region).

In 1955, the Dyagilevo airfield was one of six airfields in the USSR capable of receiving M-4 bombers. Later it developed as a long-range airfield.

The Long-Range Aviation Museum was established in 1975. The museum presents some types of aircraft side weapons, aircraft models, as well as such airplanes as Tu-16, M-4, Tu-22K, Tu-22М2, Tu-22М3 and Tu-95К.

The participants in the press tour will be able to familiarize themselves with the preparation of aircraft for training flights and combat use, to observe the training flights of long-range aviation pilots on Tu-22М3 and Tu-95MS aircraft (preparation, taxiing, take-off, flights, landing) and during training of pilots on the Tu-22М3 and Tu-95MS aircraft simulators.

It is possible that on the day of the press tour there will be a rally of front-line aviation planes involved in the preparations for the air festival dedicated to the 100 anniversary of the creation of the Russian Air Force.

Transfer to the airport Dyagilevo from Moscow and back - at the expense of the online press club of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Those who wish to go as a representative of the site "Military Review" to write in a personal admin. In the letter indicate: surname, name and patronymic, passport data, mobile phone number for communication, the subject of the letter - "press tour in Dyagilevo". One of six in Fedotov. And thank God that it’s not a museum. Giants smoke the sky. And it pleases. One of the guys will go, I envy. Time will be, I will be torn by car there.

It’s good that they smoked, we really don’t have long-range aviation, but 31 MiGs have been smoked so recently for us, God forbid ... Yes, and 24 Sushki were seen recently over the city too ... I remember my bright childhood , in the early 80s, as they looked at those handsome men all over the yard, and dreamed of becoming pilots ...

Alas, I have to admit the fact that the long-range aviation garrison has died in our country, but it has existed since the pre-war time! I would love to go, but it would interfere. Too far, but I will look forward to any info on this site (especially visual. Who will go, good luck to you!

And which ones flew to you 3M or M-4 ??? +! drinks
Your base belonged to the Navy and was originally designed for the operation of MRA, MRDA, MLRLDO and strategic aviation aircraft from it !!! drinks
Eugene, today there are only 3 whole museum:
2 in Monino and one (M-4) in Ryazan (photo below) and two ZM-T are in the Gromov LII.

        Here is 3M,

And this is M-4, only 32 aircraft were made, and since 1958 they have all been remade under TANKERS and further produced the M-4-2

And a redone 3M-T-cabinet (3 pieces were converted into a transport version.

The release lasted until 1960, about 4-3 units were produced in total M-123 and 125M in various modifications.
In 1985, the missile carriers were cut, and from 1990 to 1994, all tankers were "destroyed"

Maybe for the anniversary of the Russian Military Aviation, the attitude towards it will change for the better, and it is thanks to such events that I welcome it!

It’s a pity they don’t invite from Ukraine. Not long-range aviation, of course, but I remember =
Iron Port, summer, night, and the father (an air defense officer) tells "this is what they blasted, and this is this" there was a naval aviation range nearby, you can hear it well at night. Lying on the beach during the day - then 22m then Beshka flies

755962. I have not been to Fedotovo for a long time. How is it there? Whether the stella survived at the entrance to the cemetery, where all the crews who died during the patrol were peneched. If the memory serves, then 12-15 crew members. And several crews rest in the Atlantic. Everlasting memory. And about the brand of aircraft, I will not argue, but there I saw a turbo-propeller. Unfortunately, I don’t know Mark. Sincerely.

I don’t know how it is in Fedotvo, although I understood what you mean
, but when one bitch tried to remove the sign "Let you die, but in the song of the brave you will always be a living example" - this pilot, according to my father's story, was shot down by our C125 - I still have no tooth, and the sign is in place

Sergei. Thanks for the photo. It is they. Usually, when they come in, they cross the Vologda - N-Ladoga highway. Pass very low, already ... trembling all over the body ... with delight and pride. Sincerely.

Yes, I completely forgot. In the 90s, during the devastation, the entire Northwest saved this squadron. Who helped them than they could. Then they took patronage of the city for airplanes. Even the lads helped if the info is correct. Sincerely.

I started the service in Diaghilevo. With me, 3M, 4M, and Tu-22 also flew. Arrived to be repaired at the local aircraft repair plant. The Tu-22 M3, which sits on the picture, just went into the series and was considered a new technique (1982). How long ago it was ... Good luck to them and to all of us.

Addresses, phone numbers, my correspondence in the social. networks, even photos.
You can delete the information, which is very good - you go through authorization, find it for yourself and delete it.
