29Б6 radar "Container" in Mordovia will take up combat duty this year

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the new radar over-the-horizon detection will carry out full-fledged combat duty from 2019 in the Republic of Mordovia. We are talking about the radar station "Container".

29Б6 radar "Container" in Mordovia will take up combat duty this year

Previously, the radar station was located in the Mordovian settlement Kovylkino. On experienced- combat duty calculations of the radio-technical forces of the Russian Aerospace Force of the Russian Federation were intercepted by 1 December last year. Within a few weeks, a series of tests on the operation of the “Container” under the program of state tests was carried out. At the same time, according to the test results, those sides of the radar station were identified that need to be improved.

A new generation 29B6 Container radar, according to the commander of the 1st Army Air Defense Missile Defense of the RF Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Andrei Demin, is capable of detecting the start of hypersonic missile systems and facilities aviation.

The radar "Container" makes it possible to detect the target at a maximum distance of about 3 thousand km in the spatial sector 240 degrees. Earlier it was reported that the review sector for such a radar is 180 degrees. The target detection process can now be called "pack in a container."

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation plans to build and install over ten of the latest 29B6 “Container” radar stations in different regions of the country. This system will allow continuous monitoring of airspace around the Russian Federation in a significant frequency range.

The settlement of the station is located near the settlement of Kovylkino. The transmitter "Container" is located in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Can anyone explain the purpose of the location of this radar in Mordovia? located in the Volga region, i.e. far from the border in any direction request If the maximum detection range is 3 thousand km, then he sees very close above the territories of neighbors.

And what does it change geographically? The Nizhny Novgorod region is located next to Mordovia.

We have already explained below that the principle of operation of the station assumes that it begins to see only at some distance from itself, i.e. Near the station there is a dead zone.

Its location is such, because it is from there that the shock hazardous direction is maximally visible (KR, less than BR, ships and aviation). This circuit is 180 degrees as originally conceived.

As you can see, if you push it to the West, you would not see the Barents Sea (the shock-hazard direction of the enemy fleet) in the North and BV in the South. Of course, the pilot operation showed that even plus 30 degrees in the North to Novaya Zemlya and Vaigach, everything is visible, and in the South the Caspian, the whole of Iran and part of Afghanistan. Especially valuable is the control of the Persian Gulf. Also, the depth of the territory protects from the blinding blow of the enemy. Her mother, Wave under Nakhodka, is monitoring the Pacific Rim. There are no blind spots. For 500 km they see a surface (refraction relative to the surface) wave, up to 3000 km they see a spatial (reflected from the ionosphere) wave.

And you can’t deceive us, laughing there are satellite images where the antennas are located almost clearly from south to north (both the receiver in Mordovia (Kovylkino) and the transmitter in Nizhny Novgorod (Gorodets)). This is a type of phased array and where the cells are directed there and the radiation. And the focus is a little north.

The station operates on the principle of the Kabanov effect. Is the concept familiar? The principle of operation is the reflection of radio waves from the ionosphere, and in order to shine over the territory of a potential adversary, it is necessary to put the station at a certain distance from the border so that the radio waves can be reflected.

Container has a dead zone of 1000 km.

3000 km is the one-jump zone of visibility of aircraft in the cruise missile gabratas, 6000 km is the two-jump zone of visibility of aircraft in the dimensions of B-52 and surface ships in the dimensions of the corvette.

Judging by the map where Mordovia is. In Zapadnoye. Captures from north to south. Ideal location of the station. Far but not too far from the Western borders of the Russian Federation and count in the middle between the northern and southern borders .. It makes it possible to cover our defense complexes from the first strike.

From free sources, and more precisely from a report about the experimental - combat duty, an operational map is shown.
It is shown purposefully, since all such video is viewed by secretaries, the conclusion:
        She was allowed to show.

        1) The radar begins to "see" from the borders of Russia, this is the answer why it was placed so far away.

        2) Controls the entire Middle East.

        3) Scandinavia is almost not controlled, I think temporarily.

    News about the "useless" Caliber:
Work on the creation for the Navy of the newest cruise missile "Caliber-M" with a flight range of more than 4,5 thousand km is underway in Russia. A source in the military-industrial complex told TASS on Tuesday.

"For the Navy, the latest high-precision cruise missile Caliber-M, ship-based with a maximum firing range of more than 4,5 thousand km, is being developed. The development of the missile is at the stage of research and development and is financed by the Ministry of Defense," the source said. He clarified that the creation of "Caliber-M" is included in the state armament program until 2027, "the missile must be transferred to the fleet before the end of the program."
