Restructuring in the USSR and China - feel the difference
In his author's program, Agiprop, Konstantin Semin calls the Chinese version “anti-perestroika”, frankly stating that the results of the two “perestroika” turned out to be completely different.
Statistics show that China's per capita GDP of 1978, which is fateful for China, has grown 50 times, because of the poverty line, 700 million people have left, almost 5 times more than the modern population of the Russian Federation. Also, China’s contribution to the global economy has grown almost 10 times and is about 18,2% (data for 2017 year). Feel the difference.
At the same time, some Russian experts argue that Chinese restructuring (or anti-restructuring) has led to negative consequences.
One of those who noticed these consequences was the head of the Accounts Chamber of Russia Alexey Kudrin. According to him, there is an imbalance between the coastal and continental provinces of China, reflected in the economic inequality of the citizens living there.
