Small missile ship (RTO) Orekhovo-Zuevo completed state tests and began the transition from Novorossiysk to Sevastopol, the press service of the Black Sea fleet.
The official representative of the Black Sea Fleet, Aleksey Rulev, reports that the Orekhovo-Zuyevo MRC has successfully completed all the activities according to the state tests plan and has begun the transition from Novorossiysk to its permanent home station - Sevastopol. The solemn ceremony of raising the naval flag and the entry of the ship into the Russian Navy will occur in the near future.
The Orekhovo-Zuyevo small rocket ship is the seventh serial ship of the 21631 project (“Buyan-M” cipher), built at the Zelenodolsk Plant named after AM Gorky, and the second built for the Black Sea Fleet. The small rocket ships of the 21631 project are multipurpose ships of the river-sea class, equipped with modern models of artillery, rocket, anti-sabotage, anti-aircraft and radio-technical weapons. The purpose of the ships of this project is the protection and defense of the economic zone of the state.
Key Features: Displacement 949 tons. 74,1 meter length, 11,0 meter width, 6,57 meter height, 2,6 meter draft. A water jet is installed, providing the speed of 25 knots. Sailing distance to 1500 miles. Autonomy 10 day. Crew from 29 to 36 people.
