Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation received a mobile laboratory "Corvette-S-SK"
The equipment is able to detect malicious hardware bookmarks in computer equipment and detect leakage through the “military Internet”.
"Corvette-S-SK" was tested in operation in the army, his work was recognized as successful.
The laboratory is equipped with instrumentation with special filters that are able to detect collateral radio-electronic radiation - a sign of malicious hardware bookmarks. In addition, special direction finders automatically detect radio-electronic anomalies, analyze them and transmit to the command center. Suspicious devices here are subject to additional verification.
Also, the equipment easily records the leakage of information through the channels of the “military Internet”.
The laboratory is mounted in the covered body of "KamAZ". This allows you to quickly transfer equipment to the desired area, including to remote landfills.
According to military expert Oleg Zheltonozhko, such means of verification is quite popular today. They allow for a short time to examine the equipment and the premises, where the work with the secret data is going on, and to reveal software bookmarks, as well as spyware receiving-transmitting devices.
Currently, spy devices are available to almost everyone. They are easy to buy and easy to install. In parallel, devices for detecting so-called “bugs” are also being developed. And the new laboratory significantly expands the possibilities of counterintelligence in this regard: if earlier a spy device had to be disassembled to understand its purpose, now it is enough to scan its surface.
