Many Ukrainian politicians today are trying to ardently prove to the whole world that there is no manifestation of fascism in Ukraine. In their opinion, such concepts as fascism and Nazism are completely different things. And even more so, it’s not worth talking about any fascism when it comes to Ukrainian nationalism.
Israeli expert Yakov Kedmi, guest of the talk show “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov”, held a kind of speech historical educational program about the origins of Nazism and the reasons for prosperity in modern conditions of pro-Nazi ideas in a number of countries, including Ukraine.
In particular, Kedmi largely explains the spread of Nazi sentiments on the Ukrainian territory by the denazification that was not carried out after the end of World War II in Ukraine, which would certainly help to cleanse the country of the influence of Nazi ideology. "Bandera", who spent years in the 8-10 camps and then quietly went free, in case of denazification, they simply could not leave the camp dungeons until the end of their days. In other words, the concept of "united Soviet people" in many respects remained only a slogan.
Denazification was not carried out in countries such as Romania, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, and as a result, the ideas of Nazism flourished in a number of Eastern European states.
