This strange Russia ... Part of 1. Monument to the Nazis

155
I do not know how long this cycle can turn out, but the fact that a couple of articles did not get off is a fact.

And yes, absolutely aware of the fact that "the mind does not understand Russia." But we have to. It is very necessary to begin to understand us with our mind, because the moment when “everything is already late” if it comes, then it usually makes no sense to run behind Borjomi.

I'll start from afar. From the fact that we have not observed crowds who want to be friends and ally forever. Unlike other, perhaps less righteous, states. But in stories there were many who wanted to slightly better equip their being at the expense of the Russians.

Yes, the list of those who have broken off the horns is as long as Russian history itself. And for good reason there is a postulate that the Russians do not win.

But, as practice has shown, it is quite possible to buy yourself.

And my story today is about that.

In general, this sad story from time to time begins to be exaggerated in various media outlets, but there is no sense in it, since the monument in honor of the fascists has been in its place for 25 years.

25 years of humiliation. The symbol of corruption.

So, the city of Rossosh of the Voronezh region. It is here that stands, as the locals call it, the “monument to the fascists”.

The story is simple to mayhem. In the glorious year of 1993, initiators from Italy appeared in Rossosh. In general, the theme of the Rossoshan events in Italians is about how Korotoyak is in the Hungarians. That is sadness and melancholy, because the gay Italians were bogged down with a nut. Well at least, they were taken prisoner, it was not so sad, like the Hungarians.

This strange Russia ... Part of 1. Monument to the Nazis

Since the Soviet times, Italians have decided not only to come to worship the ashes of their ancestors, but also to make a sort of pilgrimage-retreat, that is, to go on foot from 70 to 150 kilometers by the same route as the surviving ancestors dragged.

And what, in fact, ask? And nothing. I personally do not see anything reprehensible in this. Let go, the more the better. Let the memory of this not be erased, it will come in handy for the future.

But I found someone among these Italian people (or a group of gentlemen, I don’t know for sure), very intelligent and knowing Russia. Mind knowing.

And this one decided ... to perpetuate the memory of his gallant ancestors who heroically fell on the land of Voronezh.

Let's just say, actually there is an Italian cemetery in Rossosh. And there is a memorial sign on it.

Viewed from a human point of view, the Italians are fine. There is where to come, where to stand, to put flowers there ... In general, not like mad dogs buried, although it was worth it, by and large.

Red line: we did not call the Italians to us. They themselves came. And even today we don’t need tales about poor Italian (Romanian, Hungarian, German) guys who were mobilized by force and sent to Russia for slaughter.

Oh yes, "just carrying out the order."

Eichmann also said so, but how did it come out ...

Go ahead. Italians took the initiative. And let us build something in Rossosh ... Let's build a kindergarten!

Let's. Kindergarten "Smile" is also constantly in all materials flashes. Since the Italians also collected money for the construction, they themselves plowed on leave so that God forbid. This is the local people told us.

Kindergarten "Smile" really went out on glory. Big, beautiful, bright, with a swimming pool and other capitalist delights.

But a little bitchinka is present. The place is chosen, let's say, ambiguous. Accurately at this place was the headquarters of the Alpine Corps, which included three divisions: "Julia", "Tridentine" and "Cuneense."

It was the fighters of "Tridentina" who made that retreat march. Two other divisions were radically unlucky, the 6-I army of Rodion Yakovlevich Malinovsky, the future marshal of the Soviet Union and twice Hero, and the remnants finished off, ran over them with a roller.

Yes, the Tridentins fighters at the end of January 1943 broke through the encirclement and were able to leave.

The rest of the Italian 8 army ... 64 000 captured, more than 20 000 captured could not surrender for a good reason, around 40 000 could leave the environment.

All around got around 130 000 Italians.

R. Ya. Malinovsky more than paid for his defeat in the Kharkov operation, and already in February 1943, Stalin appointed him to the post of commander of the troops of the Southern Front.

But back to the newest history.

So, a kindergarten on the site of the headquarters and barracks was built. In 1993 year. Remember that and how was it then in the country? And I remember. And the Italians understood in their own way, but with their heads. And someone smart suggested the idea of a memorial sign. Well, Russian with Italian brothers forever and all that.

Built ...

And exactly on the 10 anniversary of the unfortunate kindergarten "Smile" this one was revealed ...

Well, people are adequate, please tell me, on one platform our star and the cap of the Italian killer from the Alpine Corps - is this normal?

Local search engines will not allow to lie, the Italian guys are not at gunpoint fighters fought. They themselves coped well. And the remains of our soldiers, killed by bullets of mountain shooters, are found to this day.

Couldn't you strain your brains and come up with a real symbol of real reconciliation? Two boys with balalaika and pipe? I had a couple of minutes.

But no. It is the cap of those who shot at our people, both military and civilian.

Well, this is only the beginning of obscurantism. In this, if I may say so, “monument”, the bones somehow fell. Yes, the remains. Italian Well, just detective like that, under the cover of darkness, someone took it and threw it up.

Ours, of course, saw nothing, heard nothing. They did not look there, but their ears were covered with something. Okay, we'll talk about this a bit later, but for now, as proof, the Italian press, in which they, who knew well about the laying of bones, told.

And in the book prescribed. Well done, nothing to say.

The Rossosh public, of course, has jumped, but where it is ... It is not so easy, it turns out, to do something that is not pleasing to the authorities.

And what, ask, this is so pleasing here? Oh, there is a space for flight of thought!

In general, the friendship with the Italians is thoroughly materialized and beneficial. When the "monument" was opened, the then head of the district, Vladimir Grinyov, stood at attention to the descendants of the fascists.

"Italian friends" solemnly produced him in the "honorary Alpine", after which he began to visit the sunny Italy. And not one, but the whole family. A lower rank followed him, but people significant in the region: the head of the city administration, Yuri Mishankov, the head of Rossosh, Eduard Markov, the local historian Alim Morozov.

Naturally, at the expense of the host. With families.

Alim Morozov, an honorary resident of Rossosh, is, in fact, the engine of all Italian in the city. Well, he saw a boy of heroic and good Italian soldiers, well, "ill" by the Italians. And now Mr. Morozov is the best friend of Italy in Rossosh.

Locals say that Morozov was trying to push through another monument with might and main - an Italian soldier with a Russian girl in his arms. It didn’t come true, but the hat of the fascist murderers, too, would pull.

In 1995, Morozov’s book in Italian, “From Distant Wartime Childhood,” was published in Italy, where he actually whitewashed and licked those who came to kill us. Such is the good Mr. Morozov ... Breadmakers, baked by his grandmother, wore soldiers ... Italian ...

By the way, it was not I who invented it, it is Morozov who writes in his “book”.

Probably, nobody will be surprised by the fact that he is the director of the museum, which is located in the basement of the Smilek garden?

Museum, by the way, funny. I could not visit due to the fact that I did not know about his work schedule.

On the court there are two, if I may say so, “guns”, and that’s all. The gates are locked, well, he is guilty, he had to come before.

Local people said that there is nothing to do in the museum without an interpreter. The whole exposition of the two halls that interested me in Italian. The first hall was like the Italians dragged as far as Kharkov, the second one was built like a kindergarten.

Well, there is a portrait duce. As without Mussolini, right?

But that's not all. What about the fascist Sabbath? Natural this? There was a place to be, let's say briefly and clearly. In 2003 year.

It was decided by the Italians and the people close to them to celebrate the 10 anniversary of "Smile" in a big way. And not only did they hold a solemn and mourning rally with the worship of bones laid in the monument, so they also held a fascist march!

What trifle, right? Rossosh from Voronezh is far away from Moscow. And so they took the center shut down, and the brave arrows and their descendants went with a solemn march!

Beauty! Lepote! Mussolini from the other world smiled, our veterans, they say, wept, and the Italians walked.

In 2013, they say, they wanted the same thing. Rally, honors, march. But by that time such a stench around this business had risen, that the authorities had not risked. Gently gathered around 500 people from sunny Italy, managed, however, without marches in hats with feathers. They organized a rally at the entrance to the kindergarten, raised the flag of a veteran organization of alpine shooters, and served a commemorative mass on the dead ancestors. And we went to the "places of military glory" of their ancestors.

And the title of "friend of the Alpine shooters" seems to be passing. And inherited between officials.

Otherwise, how to explain such a statement of another official, Alexander Khitsenko, first deputy head of administration of the Rossoshansky district:

“Even if everything that our opponents say is true, can we now remove the memorial sign with such a slogan?” How will this be considered after 25 years of our joint cooperation, friendship and normal relations?

Indeed, and how?

How to recognize that the monument to the invaders in this form is the very propaganda of fascism? Terry Italian fascism?

How to recognize the corruption, and frank, uncovered, Rossoshanskih authorities? Only by personal interest can I explain such a clear reluctance to see the problem among Rossosh officials. Over the years 25, I emphasize.

People protest, write to various authorities, but ...

25 years in Rossosh do not want to see that the frank revanchist Alim Morozov is engaged in the propaganda of fascism, contrary to the laws and common sense. Probably, the case is worthy of being engaged in the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia.

It is probably worth finishing this sad material with another photo. It was made in Kiev, in the days when the 75 anniversary was marked, the liberation of Kiev from invaders and the 100 anniversary of the end of the First World War.

Well what can I say ... Where they killed, there we are present. Apparently, this is such a credo among the masters of alpine shooters.

And further. The ending of the video we shot at the memorial to our soldiers. It is unpleasant to rezanulo so that the star is there, the nozzle is there, and the Eternal Flame does not burn ...

And on the memorial about three thousand of our soldiers and officers lies. And the busts of a dozen local Heroes of the Soviet Union are. And the Eternal Flame is extinguished.

All the same things are wrong in Rossosh, as there is something wrong ...

P.S. The continuation of the topic, unfortunately, will be. And it will touch the graves of Soviet soldiers, if it can even be called graves.

The betrayal of the dead Soviet people, at the hands of the Italian fascists, on our land, and the misbehavior before foreigners for Judah’s pennies - this is the only thing that can be called the actions of the local administration of the Voronezh region.
And it seems like a trend, now in capitalist Russia. It is worth recalling only the boards of Mannerheim in St. Petersburg, the monuments to the white-cherries in Siberia, the monument to Shkuro and Krasnov in the Rostov Region and in Moscow.

In the cemetery, this monument is the place: a hat, helmet, cap were put on the graves. And the star is a reminder from which they died.

Normal monument. It is indicated who died, from which he died.
And reconciliation after death. Moreover, in 1993 there was still hope that NATO would soon collapse and peace would come on Earth.

Two bottles of vodka and a drunken "Uncle Vasya" in the trash on a bulldozer - not an option?!? You don't even need to ask the authorities' opinions, they organized themselves and demolished them themselves.
And the bones can be reburied in the main cemetery with all the honors relying on.

The monument will turn out to be a tall, very long list of aggressors.

I agree. And in St. Petersburg, on the buildings near the board of Mannerheim, install their boards indicating the number of those killed in these houses and throughout the blockade thanks to the participation of a "Russian" graduate in it. So that once again they remember, or those who did not know think.
Unfortunately, there are already a lot of them ... Are elections to the authorities held in Rossos? The residents do not want to demonstrate their attitude on them? A complaint to the prosecutor's office about the propaganda of fascism? What else remains? The same authorities won't let you put up their monuments next to them .... Bulldozer at night? In a human way, it would be polite to endure this outrage. To Italy ... And what kind of reconciliation do some people write here ?! Make friends with your contemporaries, if you like! And this is "reconciliation" with the memory of the past, oblivion of the people's feat and betrayal of pure water! Another "new Urengoi". Such things need to be massively notified, and, yes - OVERCOME! Culturally, intelligibly, reasonedly, "democratically", but OUGH !! On the mind of the younger generation.

And what did the hat of the alpine shooters not please? She, as it were, in Italy, is still considered a uniform headdress, like hats of bersaliers. And no international (including ours) is recognized as symbols of fascism, just a hat. The Italian military and veterans come to honor the memory of their soldiers in the country where they died, and ... Is this forbidden? This is normal. In Paris, I accidentally stumbled upon a monument to OURS (although for many it’s just crystal bakers) to soldiers and officers who fought and died in France as part of the Expeditionary Force. This monument is very close to the Champs Elysees and you can come to it and pay tribute to the memory. Like any military monument.

When I read Skomorokhov's articles, I catch myself thinking - he knows how, devil, "to burn people's hearts with a verb."
And anger, righteous, boils in the heart.
Therefore, it is necessary to react to the articles of Roman a little cool down.
And having thought over all aspects of the questions raised.
I'll start with the first one.
Like us, the descendants of Soviet people. We position ourselves in the Second World War? Not in the Great Patriotic War, but in the world.
    Who were we for Europe?
    We consider ourselves liberators.
And who do the rest consider us?
    Occupants.
    And let's face it.
Nazism, fascism found its way and flourished in many countries.
Not only Germany, but also Italy, Spain, Portugal.
Their Nazis were in France, Great Britain.
Swedes, Danes, Romanians, etc. largely shared the ideology of Nazism.
The reasons for such a reversal of the consciousness of the masses lie in the plane that the moderators have been carefully trying out of the comments lately.
That is, in fact, not only Germany was hit by the bacilli of Nazism.
Europe was at the stage of development of this disease.

Our fought there with fascism, therefore, the monuments are.
And then ... Would you erect a monument to those who came to kill your family, burn your house, even if the killers of the descendants erected a monument in their yard to those who were killed?
A distinction must be made between criminals and their victims.

Why not let it in? Let them come, rest, work. But to erect monuments to those who came to conquer us is a humiliation not only of us today, but also of our ancestors. They could leave graves, albeit creatures, but what can they do? Collect them all into common graves with inscriptions: Poles, so many people, Germans, so many people, etc. And at each such general burial there is an inscription in golden letters: whoever comes to us with a sword will die by the sword. Everything! They are not worth more.

We can repeat it! Judging by how Russia repeats and how Italy repeats, there are big doubts that Russia has potential! The novel outlined the correct topic. It seems not very fond of talking about this in our media. Well, they will write what bad Poles or Balts demolishing WWII monuments. But here's what happens in Russia, silence! Yes, in the 41st, of course, they rebuffed, in the 45th we were already in Berlin and Japan! But after half a century they all surrendered! The media, of course, is trying to make a smart face when speaking of war. But! One BUT! Today in the USSR pour a lot of dirt. Films about the USSR are mostly anti-Soviet! Everything possible is being done to defame that system! And they’ve already dishonored well! But again there is one BUT! This is WWII! What to do with this? Write off everything to the Gulag, detachments !? Then everything was very bad and even gloomy !? Well, if everything was so sad, where did the volunteers and the equipment built on the savings of citizens come from? So our current oligarchs donated a lot of money for the army? Or funded development and production? Under Peter, too, something was done with the money of the people, in the sense of building warships. And where do the funds of modern patriots go? How strange it turns out. Ordinary workers and collective farmers died for the country, and fat cats fight for the loot and for the right to place it with our opponents. Today the golden ass rules. And what patriotism can adherents of this donkey have !? Well, except for patriotism for money!

It’s hard to comment because the topic is painful. Of course, it is impossible to live in a state of eternal war, so you need to look for the deepest points of contact and cooperation. Glorifying fascism is criminal, but also denying the right to memory of others - is this right? So it is necessary to teach the people, and even more so the representatives of the authorities, to understand such things. Only who will do this in the conditions of the open defamation of the Soviet period of our country by home-grown liberal Russophobes: historians, writers, cinematographers, political scientists, public figures, who passionately seek out and relish the negative episodes of the past that attribute them exclusively to Russian. Yes, there are such episodes, there are many of them, but against the backdrop of the hard and many years of work of the multinational people to restore destroyed and trampled upon by enemies, to create a new one, to develop the Far North, Siberia and the Far East, outer space, which has experienced treason by the authorities and many intellectuals in recent years, it all fades and goes into the background. Our monuments to the fallen in the struggle for freedom and independence of Russia should be better and more well-groomed, kindergartens more spacious and more beautiful, films and performances more truthful and honest, they should teach the good and the beautiful, the lives of our people, and not just one elite, should be better and richer , then the monuments to our enemies will be perceived differently.

Well, when the streets and avenues began to be renamed out of the blue. So, it seems, according to local concepts, they are at war with memorials only in Poland, the Baltic states and various Dill?

After the Democrats came to power, the local authorities agreed with the Germans to rebuild the cemetery and instead they built the Dukhovshchina-Smolensk-50 km highway. The brains of people are washed out (I'm talking about the absolute majority) - this is the answer why.

Ask anyone - "I am for all good, against all bad." You try to clarify what is good and what is bad - such a mess in your head that at least stand, at least fall. But you don't have to go far: in the topic about Chubais, you can't find his supporters - everyone, to put it mildly, disapproves. But once you make a survey about communism, the majority, roughly speaking, will spit. How so? Shoot one target and not love your fellow in the trench? Just because you didn't get a chance to become an oligarch? Therefore? And if there was a chance, then immediately "Tolik, bro!"?

And not only here, but all over the world. What most tele-ringers pumped into their heads they wear, so they think.

Nobody also says that it is necessary to demolish the cemeteries of the dead Italians - they are not at war with the dead. That my father was injured in the leg, and my uncle was forever disabled after the Second World War.
And maybe I’m sorry that my grandfather was nearly burned in a concentration camp?
And my aunt and father didn’t return from the war. Think, Forget and forgive, why take so long to think?
Well, what is so here? Just think what a tragedy. The main thing is that you won, and now you can forgive everyone, up to Hitler.
Yes, at the same time, you can apologize to everyone who attacked us, for Stalingrad, St. Petersburg, Kursk, Moscow ... Well, how much we killed those who could be forgiven there are incomprehensible to the mind!

So I’m not going to forget, much less forgive. You look, how many millions of people are marching the "Immortal Regiment". And you propose to forgive all these deaths? This is not just stupidity, but a crime against the memory of millions of our people.

And the bottom line is, if you REALLY honor those who died in that war, then you should be aware that the demolition of the monument will be covered in the media throughout Europe and every dog will poke its diplomats nose with this nose immediately after they hint at the desecration, or the destruction of monuments to Soviet soldiers, and they are demolished and not a few. Here http://www.kremlin.ru/contacts rewrite the article with the application of photographs, as well as documents confirming appeals to other public authorities and relevant answers. If everything is really the way you describe, the reaction will be. I emphasize: the appeal here should not be the first.

Generally speaking, these are, of course, issues of local importance. Another thing is if they could not be resolved locally ...

The problem is complex, overnight to level the corresponding objects - not only desecration of graves (not just because the Italians put a bone there - they knew about the status change and the consequences of such actions), but also an unfriendly step towards one of the few European countries that openly calls for lifting of anti-Russian sanctions. In addition, in Italy there are enough monuments to our heroes, including those who died in Syria. It should also be borne in mind that in Italy the attitude towards Mussolini has nothing to do with the attitude in Germany towards Hitler. Mussolini is respected in Italy. His grave in a very visited crypt. T-shirts, an apron, calendars and postcards with it are not uncommon (I visit Italy regularly and I know what I'm talking about).

This in our eyes does not justify him in the least, but illustrates the complexity of the problem.

However, it is not unsolvable. The same museum can and should be preserved, but the main question is at what angle the events are covered. It really doesn’t hurt the kids to know how the Red Army drove uninvited guests from Nazi Italy. And the exhibits should be presented not as memorials, but as trophies.

Regarding the monument and burial, firstly, it will not be possible to demolish it, and secondly, it is still wrong. It needs to be changed. If he "should symbolize reconciliation" - there is nothing wrong with that - then his appearance should be trying on, not causing heartburn. The idea of having two kids is very sane.

About the inadmissibility of pompous parades, I think, to say too much. Nothing more than a mourning rally on the Italians who foolishly pounced on our land on our land should not give the go-ahead. Let them march at home.

In principle, there are military graves. You can treat them differently. But if you want your burial places to be respected abroad, treat strangers with respect. It makes no sense to fight the dead.
There are many German cemeteries in Russia:

This is the Spiritual, the largest cemetery.
    There are in Novgorod:

Here I completely agree with you, and the more such burials (I mean, your photos) will be opened on the territory of the Russian Federation, the better - so that everyone would see and understand how such adventures end and would not "draw" the figures of losses in the Second World War 1 to 100500. as places of memory, repentance and sorrow, and not for holding parades - this is already a clear overkill. But the author of the article should have visited the museum before writing about it. Maybe everything is not as straightforward as they say.

As a WWII rector, I support. Do not confuse the propaganda of fascism and a tribute to the victims. It's like hating a Wehrmacht reenactor or museum exhibit. Alpine hat is an element of the national costume. Like a Cossack’s cap. And the ancestors understood this. It is enough to pay attention to the monuments of the battles of 1812. Memory is needed in order to avoid mistakes in the future, and not to fuel hatred for former enemies. God willing, the Italians and Germans will no longer have to fight. Happy Day to all! smile

You'd better watch that the monuments to Krasnov, Shkuro, Semyonov, Vlasov and others did not appear. They are periodically blown up by caring citizens, and then in the media this act of righteous anger is called "vandalism." And the first monument to Italian soldiers was erected in Soviet times. He is captured in the film "Sunflowers" with lines from a poem by Mikhail Svetlov.
A black cross on the chest of an Italian

No carving, no pattern, no gloss, -

    A poor family stored

And the only son wearable ...

    *

    A young native of Naples!

What left you in Russia on the field?

    Why couldn't you be happy

    Over native famous bay?

    *

I who killed you under Mozdok

So dreamed of a distant volcano!

How I dreamed about the Volga

Take a ride in the gondola just once!

    *

    But I didn’t come with a gun

    Take away the Italian summer

    But my bullets didn’t whistle

Above the holy land of Raphael!

    *

Here I shot! Here where I was born

Where I was proud of myself and my friends,

    Where epics about our peoples

    Never sound in translations.

    *

    Is Middle Don Bend

    Studied by foreign scientists?

Our land - Russia, Rasey -

    Have you opened and planted?

    *

    Not! You brought in echelon

    To capture distant colonies,

To cross from the casket from the family

Grew up to the size of a grave ...

    *

I will not let my country take out

For the vastness of the foreign seas!

I shoot - and there is no justice

    More fair than my bullet!

    *

You have never lived here and have never been! ..

But scattered in the snow fields

    Italian blue sky

Glazed in the dead eyes ...

The poem was written in 1943 ...

An interesting article .... Not only in the sense of existence, but also in the fact that it was written by an author who not so long ago branded neighboring Ukraine. Well, when the streets and avenues began to be renamed out of the blue. I tried to oppose, they say, not everything, most likely, is so sad, but with different monuments and ours is not so good, but I was frankly pissed, minus, and one of the arguments was "... we do not put monuments to fascists." I did not study this topic and only knew about the scandalous board for Marshal Manerheim in St. Petersburg .... And then there it turns out .... Well, what shall we do then? Demolish? So, it seems, according to local concepts, they are at war with memorials only in Poland, the Baltic states and various Dill?
Yes, and why don't the authors start the next article with the words "sinful .... I noticed a speck in someone else's eye, but in my own ...." Well, to be honest ...

2 Marshal Mannerheim did not capture foreign countries, but defended his country from Soviet invaders. In Russia, they simply don’t understand how great it is that Finland could not be captured in 1939 or in 1944. If they were successful, Finland would be annexed to the Karelian-Finnish SSR and if the USSR collapsed, Finland would extend to Petrozavodsk. And poor Karelians would live like they did in Finland.

3 Here you can still recall the lament for Tsushima (recently there was an article in VO). It seems that no one has understood how lucky Russia is that the Japanese are theirs .... Otherwise, the Zheltorossiya project would have been brought to life. And this is another "small annexation" of China and the CER to Port Arthur would be a railway along the border between China and the Republic of Ingushetia (as the Siberian Railway is now the border railway). And by now, all sorts of renegades - the Navalny and Nemtsovs - would have fought for the Russian language as the second state language along with Chinese and at least one Russian school in each district of Moscow.

4 In Ukraine, the monuments to V.I. Lenin were quite rightly demolished, because he personally wrote on December 3 (16), 1917. MANIFESTO TO THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE WITH THE ULTIMATE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE UKRAINIAN RADA, in which he offered Ukraine a choice between war and surrender.
The funny thing is that this work was not hidden during the USSR and was even studied in the course of the History of the CPSU.

In the early morning of June 25, Soviet aviation forces led by the commander of the Air Force of the Leningrad Military District A. A. Novikov launched an air operation against Finland and launched air strikes on Finnish territory, mainly on Luftwaffe bases [60], using about 300 [specify] bombers [66 ]. During the reflection of the raids that day, 26 Soviet bombers were shot down, and from the Finnish side, “casualties in people, not to mention material damage, were great” [50]. Novikov’s memoirs indicate that on the first day of the operation, Soviet aircraft destroyed 41 enemy aircraft. The operation lasted six days, during which 39 airfields in Finland were hit. According to the Soviet command, 130 aircraft were destroyed in air battles and on the ground, which forced Finnish and German aircraft to be pulled to distant rear bases and limited their maneuver [67]. According to Finnish archival data, the raid on June 25-30 did not cause significant military damage: only 12-15 aircraft of the Finnish Air Force received various injuries. At the same time, civilian objects suffered significant [what?] Losses - the cities of Southern and Middle Finland were bombed, for which several series of raids were made, including Turku (4 waves), Helsinki, [68] Kotka, Rovaniemi, Pori . One of the oldest architectural monuments in Finland, Abo Castle [69] [70] was seriously damaged. Many bombs were incendiary-termite [71].

Before this attack, there was no fighting in southern Finland.
There was the use of the territory of Finland as a base / airfield, which was not known in the USSR at that time and therefore could not be a reason for war.
Germany and the USSR fought in the north, ignoring the Finnish border.

War with Finland started under this directive

June 25th. Stupidity or aggression? Mark Semenovich Solonin
June 24, 1941, when the directive of the High Command Headquarters was signed by the USSR People's Commissar of Defense Marshal Tymoshenko. This directive was first published only in 1996. Here is its full text.

        "June 24, 1941
        1. It has been established from reliable sources that German troops are concentrated in Finland, with the aim of striking at Leningrad and seizing the region of Murmansk and Kandalaksha. To date, up to four infantry divisions are concentrated in the region of Rovaniemi, Kemiyarvi and an undetermined group in the areas of Kotka and north of the Hanko Peninsula.
German aviation also systematically arrives in Finland, from where it raids our territory. According to reports, the German command intends to strike an air strike against Leningrad in the near future. This circumstance is crucial.
        2. In order to prevent and disrupt the air strike on Leningrad, outlined by the German command in Finland. I ORDER:
On June 25.06.1941, XNUMX, the Military Council of the Northern Front began to launch hostilities of our aviation and routed the enemy’s aviation day and night by continuous raids and liquidated airfields in the area of the southern coast of Finland, bearing in mind the points of Turku, Malmi, Porvoo, Kotka, Kholala, Tampere, in areas bordering the Karelian Isthmus and in the area of Kemijärvi, Rovaniemi (northern Finland. - M.S.).
The operation should be carried out jointly with the Air Force of the Northern and Baltic Fleets, about which to give appropriate instructions to the fleet command.
At the same time, fully alert the air defense of Leningrad, providing reliable cover for Leningrad from German air raids by a sufficient number of fighters.
Copies of the orders given to me to be delivered to me by 24.00:24.06.1941 on June XNUMX, XNUMX.
From the Headquarters of the High Command, People's Commissar of Defense S.K. Tymoshenko ”[237].

On June 25, a closed meeting was supposed to be held in the Finnish parliament to discuss the foreign policy situation in which Finland found itself in connection with the outbreak of the Soviet-German war. As presented by K.G. Mannerheim planned the following: “On June 25, the government intended to make a statement in parliament that it had made a decision to support Finland’s neutrality (emphasized by me. - MS). The Prime Minister’s report was ready on June 24 in the evening, but the events of the next day forced the government to reconsider the issue ... ”[22].
In this matter, Marshal Mannerheim, to put it mildly, is “disingenuous” (which, however, is quite understandable, given that memoirs were written in the months of the late 40s, when Finland was hanging on a thin thread). On the evening of June 24, 1941, three Wehrmacht divisions and the motorized SS brigade Nord were already in the far north of Finland and were preparing for an invasion of the USSR. This cannot be called a policy of "supporting neutrality of Finland." Most likely, Prime Minister Y. Rangel was preparing for a very difficult conversation with parliamentarians, and this conversation could well end in a change of head of government.

Of the 200 seats in the Finnish parliament, 85 belonged to the Social Democrats and only 8 seats (4% of all votes) were occupied by deputies from the extreme right, anti-Soviet and anti-communist party "Patriotic People's Movement" (IKL). In this alignment of political forces, steps taken in secret from parliament to drag Finland into the war on the side of fascist Germany could provoke a very sharp reaction. Moreover, on June 20, President Risto Ryti met with deputies of the Social Democratic parliamentary faction and assured them that Finnish troops would not be used to attack the Soviet Union. And on the eve of this meeting, on June 19, the leader of the Social Democrats, one of the country's most influential politicians V. Tanner (Minister of Foreign Affairs during the "winter war") at a meeting of leaders of trade union and workers organizations said that "our troops will be used only for defense countries, but not for offensive action. "
At dawn on June 25, the Soviet leadership presented Finnish supporters of the “revenge war” with a gift that he did not even dare to dream about (perhaps this “gift” was organized by the German allies, but more on that later). To the accompaniment of bombs exploding in the suburbs of Helsinki, Prime Minister Rangel from the rostrum of the parliament said: “The air raids against our country, the bombing of defenseless cities, the killing of civilians - all this is clearer than any diplomatic assessments, showed what the attitude of the Soviet Union towards Finland. This is war. The Soviet Union repeated the attack with which it tried to break the resistance of the Finnish people in the “winter war” of 1939–1940. As then, we will defend our country. ”
On the evening of June 25, the parliament decided to consider Finland in a state of war against the USSR. The next day, June 26, 1941, the president of the country R. Ruti made a radio message to the nation: “... Now that the Soviet Union, in connection with the war between Germany and the USSR, has spread its military operations to Finland, attacking civilians, our duty to defend ourselves, and we will do so decisively and unanimously with all the moral and military means at our disposal. Our opportunities to get out of this second defensive war successfully this time are completely different than they were the last time when we were under the onslaught of the eastern giant. The armed forces of great Germany under the leadership of the brilliant leader Chancellor Hitler successfully fight with us against the armed forces of the USSR known to us ... The Soviet Union will no longer be able to put up against our armed forces that crushing superior force that last time made our defensive struggle hopeless.
Now the Soviet Union has been found to be equal in number in an equal fight, and the success of our defensive struggle is ensured ”[17].

At the local level, officials understand everything perfectly well, and where they do not understand it, they just have a sense of what and how to do today in terms of "culture and ideology." This is the case throughout Russia now. Further it will be even more outrageous, even shocking. And the cause of the cause (i.e., the cause of decommunization) is the colonial reformatting of the post-Soviet space. Starting from the setting and ending with the basis. Or vice versa. It's not the same for everybody.

"To the Italians who died in Russia".
At all the monuments, Italians who found death on our land. Czechs, Germans, French and all other invaders should have only one inscription:
"Whoever comes to us with a sword will perish by the sword."
And the museum must certainly be nearby, where their deeds and atrocities are illuminated.

    Yes. This is wrong.
My opinion is that to fight the monument is a sin, it would be reasonable to try to change its appearance amicably by agreeing with the Italians, but to demolish it is ugly, let the Psheko-Chukhono-Sumerians do it. They are "not in a mess".
But for the costumed parades and the extinguished eternal flame at our memorial to local officials, it would be necessary to please the whaling harpoon in a brown well until the oil fountain on the roof of the local administration doesn’t shoot ...
PS: Yes, and the Italian's bones should be buried, otherwise it’s not humanly bricked up in bricks ...

I do not know how long this cycle can turn out, but the fact that a couple of articles did not get off is a fact.

That's for sure. Here is another example from Armavir

    From Wiki:
At the beginning of World War II, Garegin Nzhdeh began to cooperate with the German authorities, pursuing the goal, in case the Germans captured Transcaucasia, to prevent a possible Turkish invasion of Soviet Armenia and, if possible, with the help of Germany, restore Armenia’s independence [2].

In 1942, on the initiative of the Nazi military administration, the Armenian National Council (Armenischen Nationalen Gremiums) was created, headed by Berlin University professor Artashes Abeghyan. Abeghyan invites Garegin Nzhdeh to participate in the work of the council[20]. In December 1942, Nzhdeh became one of the seven members of the Armenian National Council (created in Berlin) and deputy editor of the newspaper of the National Council “Azat Hayastan” (“Free Armenia”) (editor-in-chief - Abram Gyulkhandanyan [hy]).

According to CIA documents declassified under the Nazi War Crimes Act, on September 1, 1945, the Armenian weekly Armenian Mirror-Spectator published a translation of the original German document, which indicated that the Armenian National Council, which included Dashnak leaders - Chairman Artashes Abegyan, Deputy Abram Fulkhandanyan, Harutyun Baghdasaryan, David Davidkhanyan, Garegin Nzhdeh, Vahan Papazyan, Dro Kanayan and Dertovmasyan - at one time approached the Nazi Minister of Eastern Occupied Territories Alfred Rosenberg with a proposal to create a German colony on the territory of Soviet Armenia [ 21].

Nzhdeh and General Dro participated in agitation among Soviet Armenian prisoners of war, with the goal of recruiting volunteers for the so-called Armenian Legion, whose units were involved in battles in the North Caucasus, and later on the Western Front[9][22].

According to the encyclopedia “The Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”, more than 30 agents of Armenian origin were recruited on the territory of Bulgaria during the Nzhdeh War. He participated in their sabotage training, as well as in the transfer to the rear of the Soviet army for the purpose of conducting subversive activities[23].

The Armenians erected a large monument to this Nazi Nzhdeh in the center of Yerevan. Garegin Nzhdeh, a Nazi, an accomplice of Hitler, who fought against Soviet troops, against the Soviet system, has long been and is the pride of Armenia.

I don't understand the author of the article. On the territory of Russia there are hundreds, or even thousands, of abandoned burial places of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. Overgrown with forest, forgotten. Who's stopping you from setting them up? No, we would rather advocate for the demolition of some Italian monument, which, in fact, has a conciliatory context and does not glorify anything or anyone. And how many organized burial places do we have in Russia for soldiers of the First World War who died in hospitals from their wounds? I will answer - not a single one. All have been demolished, built over, and rolled into asphalt.

It was important for them to capture the central public garden of the city. This is repeated moral occupation.

In any business, the subjective side is also important.
In order to draw a conclusion about what all this means, it is important to understand what meaning the Italians themselves put into it all, what they did all this.
    How they see it.
It is possible that the author’s paranoid position will shock them, because nothing of the kind was in their thoughts, their actions are completely sincere, and remembering ancestors, even those who are far from ideal and who have caused great mischief, is a long-standing tradition, including a Christian one.

Good article, much needed, thanks to the authors! A wish for them - in the following parts, do not forget to list by name our liberals, who in peacetime, from 91 to the present, destroyed so many former Soviet people that those shooters never dreamed of! Yes, we have half, if not more, of our “elite” in the first generation, especially the current managers, either on the salary of the West, or they were bought in green cash back when they could have first grabbed and then destroyed everything they could with that money ! This is who is truly dangerous to our country at the moment! Rossosh and its officials are our country in miniature, it’s all about the scale and consequences - if in Rossosh it’s more about the moral and ideological side, then in our country everything is much more complex and serious, including the consequences. The people were deprived of any opportunity to influence the situation, hence the problems, but, unfortunately, they are only our problems, the oligarchs and their bureaucrats are doing great, they can’t pass laws against themselves that could curtail their rights and appetites, otherwise and God forbid, stealing will not be allowed at all! hi

My dad is a native of the Voronezh region, from the Don, and he was captured by the Italians in the Donbass, but then handed over to the Nazis; it was only by miracle that he survived in the concentration camp, and then only because a simple German miner secretly (when they were deep underground and not in front of Gestapo informants) fed from his meager brake. That German’s son went missing on the Eastern Front and he told my future father that maybe his son was alive, in Soviet captivity, and the Russian people would also help him with a piece of bread...
And with the Rossoshan monument to an unknown Italian fascist, a very vile story turned out - a huge outrage against the memory of our fathers and grandfathers, and all those who were killed and dispossessed by these uninvited “guests”!
Now we need to do everything right - demolish the sign of the fascist Sabbath - worship ... so that there is no place left of it, throw away the “museum owner” with a filthy broom and replace the exposition of his underground fascist “panopticon” according to what these occupiers deserve with their " heroic feats"!
The local authorities would have to give it a whack so that others could learn, but this is probably unlikely - “hand washes hand”?!

Dear author Roman Skomorokhov, would you like to receive all the information first-hand? My name is Nikolay Savchenko. And I have all the reliable information about this shameful story of our corrupt officials and corrupt local historian. Where the hated hat with a feather stands (not a cap, as you call it) there was no burial from the war. And this is the most important fact. The bones were brought there to the pedestal from a wartime field cemetery by black diggers from among the revanchists in feathered hats. They did it secretly, in a vile manner, but at the same time they saluted, this symbolic grave was consecrated by the chaplain and they laid wreaths and flowers. And only 10 years later, out of vanity, the revanchists wrote the book “Operation Smile. Return to Rossosh” in which they cynically boasted of the blasphemy they had committed. And we don’t have any Italian cemetery yet. And Cemetery No. 7 was so nicknamed by the people because of the monument erected without any reason (whatever one may say) to the soldiers of the fascist regime of Mussolini. In fact, this is a monument to the glory of the fascist “heroes” who shot not only our soldiers, whom we are still reburying, but women, old people and INNOCENT CHILDREN. And enough emotions. Let's go. It is necessary to carefully look at the CRIMINAL CODE and open a criminal case about the corruption of former and current officials, about the rehabilitation and glorification of the allies of Hitler's Germany, about the illegal manipulation of human remains and the illegal transfer of the remains of soldiers of the fascist army from a field cemetery to the city center at a time when throughout Europe the remains of our LIBERATING SOLDIERS are being transferred from city centers to cemeteries. So, dear author, write to me by email [email protected] and you will learn a lot of interesting things about the museum and how everything was from the very beginning. https://tvzvezda.ru/schedule/programs/content/201808241352-z30e.htm/201810311059-9d6h.htm
