In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, work has been completed on the creation of the ground-based satellite control complex TELKOM-3, commissioned by the Indonesian telecom operator PT Telekomunikasi Tbk. The works were carried out by designers and specialists of Russia's largest enterprise for the production of unmanned space satellites "Information Satellite Systems named after Academician M. Reshetnev" (ISS).

As reported by the press service of the enterprise, in the framework of the implementation of international contracts, the ISS creates not only spacecraft, but is also responsible for the construction of ground control complexes on the territory of the customer. The complex is a platform where antenna and control and measurement systems are located, as well as the mission control center (MCC).

Today, the ground control complex is fully operational. The ISS specialists carried out the necessary tests, which confirmed the correct functioning of the software and receiving and transmitting equipment. “A software simulator, a computer model of a spacecraft, was manufactured for testing at the enterprise. With its help, the company’s employees obtained telemetric information and worked out the satellite control commands,” explained in the ISS.

In the course of testing, a connection was also established between the Indonesian MCC and the TELKOM-3 spacecraft installed on the assembly tests at the ISS. The satellite successfully executed all commands sent from the flight control center.

The object will be commissioned after the launch of the TELKOM-3 satellite in early July and the completion of tests in orbit. Until that time, the spacecraft from the MCC in Indonesia will be controlled by ISS specialists.

The Telkom-3 satellite was designed and manufactured on the basis of the middle-class platform Express-1000Н. Its tasks include the provision of telecommunications services, television and Internet access in Indonesia and Indochina. Within the framework of the project, the ICS is responsible for the development, manufacture of the platform and the design of the payload module, integration, testing of the spacecraft, as well as the creation of its ground control complex.

JSC "Information Satellite Systems named after Academician MF Reshetnev" is an enterprise of the Russian space industry, established on March 3, 2008 by transforming the FSUE "NPO PM" (founded in 1959). ISS owns the technologies of a full cycle of space complexes from design to control of spacecraft in all orbits - from low circular to geostationary. In 2010, the ISS share in the domestic market in terms of the number of manufactured and launched spacecraft was 78,5%, in 2009 - 47,6%. In the world market in 2010 - 17,8%, in 2009 - 3,2%.The progress is obvious. Today, Roscosmos is collaborating with 20 countries in the field of space exploration. The list of partners includes countries: the USA, India, Japan, Argentina, Sweden, Brazil and the countries of the European Space Agency. Statistics show that 85% of countries from all over the world engaged in space activities are actively using the services of Russia, which indicates the need continuous development and expansion of this market.

Sorry for the indiscreet question, what else besides gas, oil and weapons does Russia trade in? By the forest? By and large. Or have we overwhelmed the whole world with consumer goods, so there is nowhere to go from us, the prices have hit everyone?

consumer goods - this is not a product! And we don’t have to aim for it! High technology, weapons, software, petroleum products, etc. Blimey!

Interestingly, Comrade Lieutenant Colonel expound. What lofty words! So you think that computers, televisions, radio electronics, audio and video equipment, clothes, shoes, cars, motorcycles are not goods? Generally, consumer goods are consumer goods. "What would you advise to aim at? Or do you think that these are not high technologies?"
