The confession of the fifteen thousandth, or How is served by the fighters of the people's police
Large-scale machinations of budget cutting and scraping technology affect the military indirectly, and problems directly affecting everyone here and now are sufficient without them.
In each brigade the conditions of service vary. Somewhere, the apparel allowance and supply is better, somewhere is worse, but the main problems of the servicemen are typical and the farther from the front line, the brighter they appear.
A serious problem is the clothing allowance. The form almost always has to buy yourself. Instead of berets, canvas boots are issued, and instead of the Russian “pixel”, they are sewn in the republics, often worn. It is torn instantly, so the soldiers prefer to take the form themselves.
Sapper shovels, knapsacks, travel bags and other uniforms also have to be purchased for their own money. What is most interesting is that in most units every month soldiers deduct 1 000 rubles for the “needs” of the battalion, including the purchase of all these useful trifles. However, clothing still has to be bought on its own, and “voluntary-compulsory” contributions simply disappear. If you think about it, these are considerable sums: in the 300-400 battalion, military personnel who donate a thousand each month into the “cauldron” are a good increase for some people in salary.
By the way, even those servicemen who take part in parades on 9 in May buy the parade uniform themselves - all this “costume jewelry” in 15-20 thousand rubles costs.
As for the personnel, the battalion rarely numbers 400 people. Most often - 350-370. Many soldiers leave for SOCH (he left part without permission), some do not return, but they are not deleted from the lists in order not to show the actual number of personnel. Probably in order to receive their salary. Every 10 “dead souls” in the battalion is 150 thousand rubles per month or 1,8 million a year in someone’s pockets.
True, unpleasant incidents happen when a sudden check finds only 200-50 people on the test site or on positions instead of 60 (some of them have only existed on paper for a long time, the rest just went to SOCH). However, after such incidents no one is lowered in rank or dismissed - it means that everything is known in the corps. In any case, for staff drafting a note of battle - terrible stress.
Another constant problem is the drill, the charter and its priests from the neighboring state. The rules sometimes change almost every week. And we are talking about "vital" aspects of the service - for example, is it possible under the charter to wear a "PN hat" (balaclava) or not? The command is engaged in solving this and other crucial issues, and the staff in the meantime repeatedly picks up scams from their own or import commanders. And those, in turn, often try their best.
Sometimes it seems that far from the best servicemen come from a contiguous state - “traitors”, armchair strategists and fine martyrs, many of whom belong to local fighters with open disdain. Accordingly, people in 2014 who have passed through the real hell have far from the warmest feelings for them, which in a combat situation can be fraught for importing comrades with major troubles.
Local officials, too, sometimes do not hold water. Commanders who fought and commanded in combat conditions in 2014, little by little, leave the army (many, alas, into another world). In their place, careerists sometimes come, someone's relatives, or just enterprising citizens: they say that to get a title today costs from 60 thousand rubles.
However, why be surprised if at the very top of the recently renamed MO DNR are people who have absolutely no relation to the war or the army? For example, the head of the award department, Colonel Angelika Dobros, and her husband, Lieutenant Colonel Igor Dobros (before the war, the tram driver and driver). People who have repeatedly been accused of selling awards are directly evidenced by the abundance of awards for the defense of Slavyansk among people who have been in this town except before 2014.
By the way, a few days ago, these people, who are part-time deputies of the People’s Council of the DPR, voted against the law on the release of family members of the dead soldiers from utility bills. Apparently, they are worried that the benefits in the republic may not be enough for everyone.
In one material, all the nuances of service in the people's militia cannot be counted, therefore, we will have to return to this topic more than once. The topic is definitely important, and you need to talk about it. Moreover, the real picture is almost impossible to find: if the official sources of the army of New Russia is growing day by day, then the bloggers, on the contrary, are all on the verge of a disaster.
