
According to the department of information support of the Black Sea Fleet, the frigate Admiral Makarov, having completed the tasks in the permanent group of the Navy, left the Mediterranean and is now passing the Dardanelles and Bosporus straits, following to the permanent basing site - Sevastopol. Previously, the composition of the group left two small rocket ships Velikiy Ustyug and Grad Sviyazhsk.
It should be noted that earlier the ship took part in the Main Naval Parade in St. Petersburg, and after that participated in the inter-fleet exercises of the ships of the Baltic and Northern Fleets in the Baltic Sea. In the Mediterranean, the ship also completed missions during an exercise under the supervision of the commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy.

This is the third ship in the series of patrol ships project 11356. Ships of this project are designed to counter surface ships and submarines, repel air attack attacks, both independently and as part of formations.
