In Rostec clarified the terms of the adoption of "Armor striker"

31
The state tests of the airborne missile “Broneboyshchik” are almost completed, this year the issue of adopting it for service will be decided, Interfax a message from the general director of the Techmash concern (part of Rostec), Alexander Kochkin.

According to Kochkin, flight tests have been completed, and documentation is currently underway. The final decision on the adoption of a rocket into service is expected later this year.

If the decision is positive, then the experimental party “Armor” will go to the troops next year. Then the customer (the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation) will make the final decision on the purchase, the general director said.

Earlier it was reported that the newest rocket C-8OFP "Broneboyschik" is designed for use with airplanes and helicopters (Su-24 / 25, MiG-29, Mi-28 and others). Intended to defeat light armored vehicles and surface ships at a distance of 6 km. Its peculiarity is that, depending on the task, it may explode when hitting the barrier, in front of it or behind the barrier.

C-8OFP should complement the C-8 family of unguided rockets. The new ammunition has the same caliber (80 mm) and configuration, but its power exceeds the power of the predecessor 5-6 times.

The test launches of the “Armored Worker” were conducted from a Mi-35M helicopter.

Uncontrollable again? recourse Shooting "point-blank" with an uncertain hit probability ...

6 km is "point blank" laughing And the "undefined probability of hitting" only if the hands are crooked. For a moving target there are controllable ones, and spending an ATGM on a penny dugout or equipment on a hitch is either unprofessional or idiocy.

The dugout is by no means a penny. Moreover - the technique is funny. These goals must be hit carefully - with one rocket. And not a pack of NURs.
Attack helicopter - a very expensive and very vulnerable combat vehicle. And equipping it with inaccurate cheap weapons is unreasonable.

For these purposes, high-explosive throws bombs, and you can’t even scare them with one rocket.

Do you have any precise information that the Armor-Piercer is an inaccurate missile? I doubt it. hi

The dugout is a penny building made of homna and branches, built for example from logs using a shovel and two rams from a construction battalion. Or from concrete and formwork using the same shovel, mix concrete and the same rams from the construction battalion.
And how much is a guided missile? laughing
          Do not be you Krylov - some kind of crooked fables. And it makes no sense to hit "neatly" on vehicles that are "neat" - such vehicles never stand near random objects;

When during a frontal attack of the enemy in the forehead, such NURSES arrive at his position (trench lines, dugouts and other engineering structures), or a large column of armored vehicles with enemy manpower is covered, TEST - THIS IS VERY EFFECTIVE AND CHECKED !!!

Probably the magnitude of the hit is offset by the magnitude of the lesion.

You are obsessed with guided bombs, these missiles strike in one gulp, usually against area targets.

We switched to precise weapons. And they came to the conclusion that it - by the sum of the total consumption of ammunition - is cheaper than inaccurate. The motorized rifle company on the march does not go with a dense crowd, but with two narrow columns with large intervals between the soldiers.

So after all, you can hit a couple, and a link of planes, and the fire will be very dense, no narrow columns with a large interval will help. They just plow everything and everything.

Nobody does that. 3/4 of the ammunition will be net misses. Especially the link. At the first explosion from the very first aircraft, the infantry kicks up. You live the last century and do not want to leave it. If you don’t switch to precise weapons, a little green one will come .. sad

A motorized rifle, not an infantry company, you carefully understood the difference between the MSR and the cf. It seems to me that the IDF is on BMPs, armored personnel carriers, MTLBs, cars, is that what you wrote more about Wed or so on. Or, in the victorious IDF, equipment is tied to a soldier and they drag it in narrow columns around the country?

I didn’t understand, here are excerpts from an article from January 2015:
An 80-millimeter S-80FP missile with a high-explosive penetrating warhead presented by the Tula research and production association “Fusion” at the DEFEXPO India exhibition in February 2014, began to be delivered to the Russian Armed Forces. This was announced by the Director General of the enterprise Nikolay Makarovets.
