In the armed forces of Ukraine revealed repeated large theft from military depots in the Odessa region. The report of the State Audit Office states that significant volumes of diesel fuel disappeared from the warehouses of the 46-th joint support center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Logistics Service - in fact, several tanks were empty.
The theft of 200 tons of diesel fuel, as well as the illegal transfer of 300 tons of fuel to other military units. At the same time, the command of the 46 joint logistics support center could not explain the grounds on which the fuel and lubricants were transferred to military units without notifying the controlling authorities.
The total damage caused to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Odessa region exceeds 10 million hryvnia. The most interesting thing was that they continued to steal fuel even while a group of auditors was working in the center. The “unknowns” managed to take out and sell, in fact, under the nose of the inspectors at least 31,5 t DT. Data about this in its report reflected the audit committee.
In this regard, a special group of representatives from the prosecutor's office of the Southern region of Ukraine was sent to the 46 logistics support center. At the first stage of the work of military prosecutors in the Odessa region, the head of the 46 center, Colonel Yevgeniy Korol, and the head of the fuel and fuel depot, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Mosunov, are deprived of their military ranks with the loss of rights to all military payments and benefits. Two more officers were lowered in ranks and positions, and the senior officer of the fuel supply control center of the Back of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Izvarsin, was released from service with the phrase “service mismatch”.
