Exhibition of trophies from Syria

5
In the framework of the Armiya-2018 international military-technical forum, the Russian Ministry of Defense, together with Syrian colleagues, organized an exhibition of captured weapons and equipment seized from the militants during the current operation. Now, many exhibits that previously belonged to gangs and terrorist organizations are leaving for different cities to participate in new exhibitions. One of the trophy display sites was the House of Officers of the Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don.

In the foyer of the House of Officers, there were about a hundred of different items, in the recent past repulsed with battles or confiscated from militants. The exposition is divided into several parts. Visitors, first of all, were met with various samples of small weapons all major classes. For well-known reasons, in the Syrian armed conflict has found the use of weapons of various models from different eras, made in several countries.

At the exhibition of trophies in one place and at one time one could see Soviet, American and French machine guns. Next to them were submachine guns from the countries of the former Warsaw Pact. There were widely presented automatic and self-loading rifles - from the "old" M1 Garand to modern systems on the AR-15 platform. Of particular interest are the original methods of field repair of weapons with the help of available tools.

Militants understand the value of remedies and the importance of communication. In practice, this led to the fact that next to small arms there were helmets and body armor at the exhibition, as well as military and civilian radio stations. Previously, they were used for their intended purpose, and now serve as confirmation of the success of the Syrian operation.

Probably not the most numerous, but the largest and most prominent became another department of the exhibition. Visitors were shown a few dozen different artillery and rocket systems, also seized from the militants. At the disposal of neutralized terrorist organizations previously there were mortars of factory production, and even anti-tank missile system TOW. In addition, in artisanal conditions, the militants were engaged in specific technical creativity and collected their own mortars, mortars, etc. One of the largest exhibits of the trophy exhibition was a large-caliber anti-tank rifle of artisanal production.

Another part of the exhibition allowed visitors to see what they could not bring to Rostov-on-Don. On several stands placed photos with the most interesting samples of the captured technology, now located in the park "Patriot".

From the first days of the war in Syria, the militants sought to obtain military weapons and equipment. They received the necessary material part by robbing captured army warehouses or receiving help from foreign "friends." In addition, the handicraft production of weapons from scrap materials was launched with might and main.

Robbery, help and personal enthusiasm helped illegal groups arm themselves and solve some of their tasks. However, then the situation changed dramatically. With the support of the Russian military aviation and with the help of supplies of material from our country, the Syrian army was able to recover the lost territories and neutralize many gangs. An additional result of these processes was a lot of trophies that everyone can now see.

The exhibition of trophy samples will run until 30 September and will run every day from 10: 00 to 15: 00. Until the last day of work, the exposition receives visitors in the Officers' Club. On Sunday, the exhibits can be seen in the Park of Culture and Rest. Gorky.

And the mortars are interesting and some of them look like homemade products. And everything is in working condition. And Svidomo factory dressing, but for some reason carries them when fired.

Not everything, the “barmaleevs” carry much more when fired, it's just that “it” after the “demolition” is difficult to assemble and even more difficult to bring, and in general there is nothing to show for the public ...

But interestingly, the organizers are great, in the late USSR there was nothing like that, the closest analogue coming to mind is the exhibitions of captured weapons of 43-45. in Moscow.

Well, barmaley for war, and Svidomo for profit.

In the photo, a Chinese air rifle is a caliber fracture. 22 clearly transferred to the small cartridge. It is impossible to suggest another, although who knows these barmalei, maybe they were squandered under the chamber 5.45 × 39, and maybe 5.56 × 45. I think that the one who did this did not know anything about the speeds of the bullets and the number of rifling, the barrel, the twist. And the sleeve can be knocked out with a hammer and a steel pin as a last resort ... EVERYWHERE TO GO TO THE HIMS ...
