Wounded officers will be able to continue to serve in the military enlistment offices
According to the newspaper, has prepared amendments to the provision on military-medical examination in order to maintain the service of officers - war veterans who have serious injuries. After approval of the amendments, they will be able to continue their service in the military commissariats.
The draft document is currently at the stage of internal coordination. It is expected that the amendments will be approved before the end of next year.
At present, the military medical commission may recognize an officer who received serious injuries unfit for military service. The conclusion is made at a meeting of the commission in the course of an open vote by a simple majority of votes.
At the same time, practical officers who know the state of affairs in the armed forces could help improve the work of military registration and enlistment offices. As the founder of the Russian association of lawyers of law enforcement agencies "Guard" Oleg Zherdev said, in the zero years most of the officers were dismissed (transferred) from military registration and enlistment offices, their place was taken by civil servants with salaries 10-12 thousand rubles. As a result, mobilization opportunities "sunk."
With the return of the officers, he said, two problems will be solved - the department will help the officers to remain in the service, as well as improve the work of the military registration and enlistment offices. Zherdev also added that civil servants in the event of a declaration of martial law may not withstand the psychological burden of the conscription, while the officers, who are constantly taught to solve extreme problems, will overcome such difficulties.
