The Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is a unique educational institution by global standards, with its own, nearly two hundred year old history.
Founded in 1832, under Emperor Nicholas I, the academy produced thousands of officers during its work, many of whom subsequently entered their names in the military history of Russia.
