Jacob Kedmi is tough about whether the Soviet occupation of the Baltic was

24
In the past few years, in a number of countries that have acquired their own statehood solely thanks to the goodwill of neighboring countries, such as, for example, Poland or the failed “Baltic tigers” - Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia appeared some kind of silly tendency.

Almost in one voice, they began to demand from the surrounding countries monetary compensation, the amount of which is limited only by the imagination of the “plaintiff”.

Poland, contrary to all the post-war, world-recognized agreements, declares the need to obtain compensation from Germany.

Dwarf "Baltic tigers", almost twenty years after gaining independence, they suddenly decided to demand compensation from Russia for the alleged "occupation" of these territories.

Most likely, the basis of these requirements is the fact that in a couple of years the Baltic countries lost their industry, and with it economic and political independence, will be left without life-giving financial injections made by the EU, thanks to which they still have life in them, and then will be for something to exist.

On the one hand, it seems, like foolish to make excuses for what was not. On the other hand, if every time not to give a reasoned rebuff to these US servants, in the end, their demands may become true in the last resort.

In the video presented, renowned expert from Israel, Jacob Kedmi, dotted the “i” and gave a hard answer to the Baltic politicians who lost their sense of reality.

If Solovyov didn’t have Mr. Kedmi on the show, then there’s no one to answer. It seems that the rest of the extras invited are unaware of the topic.

I watch this program only because of Jacob, a sharp mind, an independent judgment, a criticism in essence. Israel has a lot to learn in protecting national interests, including in international organizations.

other invited extras or do not know the topic

the rest are simply provocateurs for escalating psychological tension at the SHOW.
If they really wanted to find out the truth, then the opponents had to be asked questions in advance so that they could prepare an analysis, make historical references, give evidence and rebuttals. Then it would be a full-fledged scientific study with a high level of confidence in the conclusions. Otherwise, despite the authority of the participants, everything slides into banal demagogy. negative

Dwarf "Baltic tigers", almost twenty years after gaining independence, they suddenly decided to demand compensation from Russia for the alleged "occupation" of these territories.

    Because:
    a) we profited from transit (by the way, thanks to them for this, the Kremlin even had an incentive to develop the domestic port infrastructure - what would we do without your Russophobia, a deep bow).
    b) in 2020, financial assistance from the European Union ends (in principle, the first swallows have arrived just now - according to the latest Brussels redistribution of subsidies, sprats have already been cut off in a childlike way, almost by a quarter of their former funding).

Jacob is great. But the "occupation" was not invented by the Poles, but by the CIA curators who are warming up the nationalists in Estonia. It started widely around 1988. We spoke to students. Foul-smelling articles in Estonian-language newspapers, radio broadcasts, local Estonian TV broadcasts. At the same time, everyday nationalism began to be widely cultivated, aimed at Russians, at veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

There was such an Estonian cartoon magazine "Pikker". I remember a disgusting picture - a veteran with a full chest of medals is walking and a guy with a bulldog is walking towards. The bulldog also has all his chest in medals.

Exactly according to Goebbels: repeatedly repeated lies and cave Neanderthal xenophobia.

Kedmi put in place our "liberals" (read the mongrels of the United States) so it is all the countries of Eastern Europe and the Balts feed from the hand of the European Union and the hedgehog with it, but the post-Soviet "states" thinking that that hand will feed them are mistaken, they have to to collect crumbs not even from the master's table, but the lackeys of the master, such as the Baltic states.

Peter the Great bought them all along with cattle and lands for 2 million silver yefimoks (thalers) from the Swedish king (or rather from the queen, since Charles XII himself was on the run after Poltava and was visiting the Turkish sultan).

So, now the purchased item will require money from the buyer?

They are still there with trepidation and recall those blessed days when they were kept in the position of cattle. Monument to Lenin, who gave them independence in fact, was thrown down. A monument to the knight Roland, who did not count them, was placed.
With great love, the guides in Old Riga show the Swedish Gate, where, as they say, a Latvian girl was walled up for violating the "regime" - either she disobeyed the ban on spending the night in the city (Latvians were forbidden to stay overnight in Riga), or she muddied up with one of the then occupying Swedish soldier. Both options are very touching and equally well show the position of the locals with the previous benefactors.

Hike, Kedmi found a new fashionable theme: the Baltics. And before that he presented himself as a specialist in the East. But the approach is the same: to say what people want to hear, successfully exploiting a sense of patriotism. No facts, no review - just blowing into the ears. The dude makes a name for himself and money, that's understandable. Therefore, I have long ceased to trust such a "good and convenient" expert.

What facts do you need in the topic on which he spoke? Or are you looking closely at the experience of the Balts .. how to try to shake out money for the "occupation" .. Ukraine?

Lesson of patriotism in an Estonian school:
Teacher (performed with a characteristic Estonian accent) - "children, what does the blue color of our banner mean?"
Urmas "This means the color of our sky, over which Russian planes flew, Mr. Teacher" ...
Teacher: "That's right, get drunk. And what does the black color of our banner mean?"
Valdis: "and this, mister teacher, is the color of our land, on which Russian infantrymen walked"
Teacher "right. And you have to drink. And what does the white color of our banner mean?"
Non-citizen Vovochka: "and this, Mr. Teacher, means the color of snow in Siberia, which you, Valdis and Urmas will clean up the remaining 50 years of your life ...."
