Museum in the former US Embassy in Tehran

1
I was surprised a lot when I didn’t find a single photo or any image on the Internet inside the former US embassy in Tehran, although I knew that there was a museum there. Therefore, I decided to go to the capital of Iran and make the shots that interest me most. I risked, of course, because I knew that the result might not be if I were not allowed to photograph. By the way, in the museums of Saadabad (the residence of the Iranian shahs of the Pahlavi dynasty) you cannot take pictures, as it turned out on the same trip. But luck this time did not turn away from me, and now everyone can see here the results of my trip.

The exposition of the museum presents the "holy of holies" of any embassy - referentura. This is the place where information from the embassy and for the embassy is encrypted, sent, received and decrypted. The “halls” of the museum are located on the 2 floor of the left half of the main building.

It is surprising that so much of the special equipment was not raskorezhena burst crowd. This suggests that the attack on the 4 embassy in November of 1979 was led by trained individuals who knew what was of interest to the new Iranian authorities.
