Article 9. Sincerely striving for international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever reject war as the sovereign right of the nation, as well as the threat or use of armed force as a means of resolving international disputes.
2. To achieve the goal indicated in the previous paragraph, land, sea and air forces, as well as other means of war, will never be created in the future. The right to a state of war is not recognized.

Constitution of Japan

As noted on the official website of the Ministry of Defense of Japan, the refusal of war, as a means of international politics, does not deprive Japan of the right to self-defense, therefore, despite the strict restrictions enshrined in the Constitution, Japan has a large and well-equipped army. Many of the bans imposed on Japan after World War II are still in effect, although they are no longer being implemented as rigorously as before. Japan deprived of offensive weapons: bomber aviation, ballistic and tactical cruise missiles. There is still a ban on classic aircraft carriers - all the forces and means of the Naval Self-Defense Forces are focused on the tasks of air defense and anti-submarine defense. The operational codes of Japanese warships usually contain the letter D (defense - defense, English), but the Japanese fleet has sufficient capabilities to conduct military operations against ship groupings in order to gain dominance in the sea and ocean areas adjacent to the coast of the Japanese islands, blocking torrential zones of the Sea of Okhotsk, the Japanese and East China Seas, the implementation of amphibious landing operations and the provision of support to ground forces in coastal directions.

Japan's Ground Forces Self-Defense Forces is a modern army that is armed with 900 major military tanks, hundreds of artillery systems (including 155 mm self-propelled guns), multiple launch rocket systems, 80 Cobra and Apache attack helicopters. Experts note the high saturation of the army with anti-aircraft missile systems (from the Patriot long-range air defense systems to the Hawk and Stinger short-range air defense systems).

The Air Force Self-Defense includes 260 combat aircraft, including X-NUMX F-157J fighter jets (built under license in Japan). Much attention is paid to the tactics of aviation, the Air Force contains 15 DRLO aircraft, including 17 heavy aircraft of the Boeing E-4 radar patrol.
Due to the fact that in the 2007 year, the United States refused to sell the fifth-generation F-22 fighter to Japan, the Japanese military leadership decided to develop a fifth-generation Mitsubishi ATD-X.

Ships that surprised the world

Since its creation in 1952, the Japanese Self-Defense Forces slowly but steadily gained strength, becoming one of the most powerful military fleets in the world by the beginning of the XXI century. The naval force of the Self-Defense Forces includes 50 squadron destroyers and frigates of various types, 18 diesel engines, submarines, 5 landing ships, 7 missile boats, 80 anti-submarine aircraft R-3 "Orion", 4, E-aircraft ER-E-NNXXX, EB-E-NNXXX aircraft, EB-E-NNXXX, EB-XNXXX, EE aircraft, EN XXXX, anti-submarine aircraft, X-NUMX, Oriental, 3, 60, anti-aircraft -60J, 30 anti-submarine helicopters HSS-2B, 10 helicopters, minesweepers MH-53E, as well as 90 training aircraft.

At the beginning of the 70s, the composition of the Naval Self-Defense Forces of Japan was replenished with 2 unusual ships - destroyers of the Haruna type. It is difficult to say how the Japanese sailors were guided in choosing the appearance of the future destroyer - it could be purely practical considerations (the anti-submarine defense task then was very acute, given the number of submarines in the Pacific fleet Navy of the USSR). Or maybe the Japanese were nostalgic for the glorious times of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, when his invincible aircraft carriers crushed the American fleet in a vinaigrette, inflicting severe wounds on the United States in Pearl Harbor, the Philippines and the Coral Sea. However, judge for yourself:

The armament of the new ship included a 2 highly automated 127 mm caliber artillery mounts deployed along a longitudinally elevated pattern in the nose of the destroyer (licensed copies of the American naval gun Mark 42 5 "/ 54, firing rate - 40 rpm / min.) Before rubbing an eight-charge launcher was installed to launch ASROC anti-submarine rocket-torpedoes, allowing to hit underwater targets with high accuracy at a distance of 9 km. To destroy submarines in the immediate vicinity of the ship, matrivalos having two triple torpedo 324 mm caliber (12,75 inches).

The destroyer stern looked really unusual - the rear part of the superstructure was a huge helicopter hangar, and the entire aft part turned into a spacious flight deck. On the ship could simultaneously be based three heavy anti-submarine helicopters "Sea King". Of the added amenities there was a substantial supply of aviation fuel and a wide range of ammunition for onboard helicopters. All the main tasks of the military service were assigned to rotary-wing machines, and not to rocket or artillery weapons, as was customary on other destroyers.

The helicopter destroyers of the Haruna type implemented a concept similar to the one adopted during the creation of the Soviet anti-submarine cruisers of the Moscow type (1123 project). Only with the difference that the Japanese ships were smaller in 3; Haruna’s full displacement was 6300 tons - like a large modern frigate.
Despite the strictly limited size, the Japanese engineers managed to achieve acceptable ride quality and ocean range. At full speed, the Haruna’s boiler-and-turbine plant produced a hp on the 70 000 shaft, accelerating a small ship to 32 nodes.

In 1986-1987, the ships were upgraded, during which anti-aircraft armament was installed - the eight-charge launcher of the SiSperrow and 2 anti-aircraft guns of the Phalanx. As a result, the Haruna turned into a truly balanced large anti-submarine ship.
Over the 30 years of combat service, both the Khun-type helicopter carrier destroyers proved to be reliable and efficient ships. At the beginning of the 80-s, 2 of the same class of ships of the same class were put into operation - the destroyers of the Sirane type, a modernized version of the Harun, similar in weaponry and size. Currently, Haruna and its Hiei sistership are excluded from the fleet and dismantled for metal.

"Peaceful Soviet tractor"

The experience gained in the creation of Haruna has not disappeared without a trace. 18 March 2009, the squadron destroyer of the “Hyuga” type entered into service (sometimes there is the “Hyuga”, here, alas, I am not strong in Japanese phonetics). The thunderbolt full displacement of 18 000 tons bashfully called a helicopter destroyer, although here the Japanese clearly bent. The dimensions and appearance of the “Hyuga” correspond more to the light aircraft carrier; this type of helicopter carrier became the first in the post-war stories Japanese warship with a solid flight deck. Many people point out that the dimensions of the Hughugi flight deck allow him (or her? Hyuga — the historical name of the Miyazaki prefecture) to take vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, such as the AV-8B Harrier II or the promising F-35B. The future will show how these statements are true; a dozen Harrier attack aircraft are based on ships of similar size, for example, the Italian light aircraft carrier Giuseppe Garibaldi.

On the other hand, dimensions cannot be decisive - according to the American DD (X) project, new Zamvold-type URO ships, with a total displacement of more than 13 000 tons are assigned to the class of destroyers. Soviet sailors of the Second World War would be very surprised to learn that their destroyer of the 7 project by modern standards is not a destroyer at all, but a corvette (displacement of 2500 tons). The increase in the size of destroyers is a constant process throughout the twentieth century (they started with the 400-ton destroyers of the Russo-Japanese War and finished the Orn Berkas 10 000). Therefore, we will leave the linguistic exercises on the Japanese conscience and will try to determine for ourselves who Hyouga really is.

Well-tailored ship 18 000 tons full displacement (standard displacement - 14 000 tons), with a solid flight deck and underdeck hangar, between which runs two lifts.
What can? Main weapon "Hyuugi" - his wing. Typical composition - 10 ... 15 helicopters, depending on the task. For example, in version seven of the anti-SH-60J "Seahawk", five heavy transport MH-53E "Super Stallion" and three MCH-101. All tasks for the detection and maintenance of submarines, and the defeat of surface and submarine targets are assigned to helicopters.
In addition, the helicopter carrier is equipped with a Mark-41 vertical launcher on 16 cells, each of which houses 4 anti-aircraft missiles RIM-162 ESSM (effective firing range - 50 km, ZUR speed - 4M), ideally - 64 ZUR for protection against airplanes and anti-ship missiles, but usually several cells are occupied by ASROC-VL anti-submarine rocket-torpedoes. Of the other self-defense systems on the "Hyuga", two anti-aircraft guns "Phalanx" and 324 mm anti-submarine torpedoes were installed.
All weapons are controlled by the OYQ-10 BIUS and FCS-3 radar with a phased array, which are the Japanese version of the Aegis system.

"Hyuga" is not a "killer of aircraft carriers" and is not created for World War I using nuclear weapons, but its weapons are fully capable of repelling any provocation by the DPRK or China. The Japanese themselves are positioning their “pseudo-avian carrier” as an anti-submarine ship of the ocean zone. The presence on board of a multifunctional CICS and command center means another mission of the destroyer-helicopter carrier - the flagship / control ship.

Of considerable interest is a comparison of the capabilities of the future Russian amphibious helicopter carrier Mistral (the first ship for the Pacific Fleet, the Vladivostok, has already been laid at the Saint-Nazaire shipyards). “Mistral” is more 21 000 tonnes versus 18 000 tonnes “Japanese”), however, the French-Russian and Japanese helicopter carriers are very similar to each other.
"The projection ship force" Mistral "was created to deliver personnel and equipment to the desired point on the globe, while the ship itself remains outside the zone of military operations, low combat stability does not allow the" Mistral "to approach close to shore - the landing force is carried ashore by amphibious boats and by helicopters, at this time the universal landing ship dock performs the functions of a command post of various types of landing forces, serves as a floating hospital and a base for attack helicopters.
The combat stability of the Japanese helicopter carrier is also low, however, it can act more decisively in the war zone due to the presence of a set of self-defense weapons and 1,5 times a higher speed of travel (it makes 30 nodes for Hyogo; while "Mistral" does not allow moving faster than 18 nodes).

From the strengths of the "Mistral" - the presence of a deck for armored vehicles (although it is designed for cars with a mass of no more than 32 tons and does not allow to take MBT). The future Russian ship is equipped with a docking chamber for receiving tank landing boats and high-speed means of delivering Marines personnel to the shore. There is nothing similar on the “Hyuga”, only helicopters are out of vehicles.
A major flaw in the Mistral is the absence of any serious means of self-defense - MANPADS and machine guns only protect the ship from primitive means of attack and saboteurs. On the other hand, negotiations are still under way on the supply, together with Mistral, of the promising combat information-control system “Zenit-9” of French production, which will give Russian developers direct access to the best world technologies in this field. New Russian missile systems "Caliber", "Redut", CRAB "Palash" are ready for serial production and their installation on the "Mistral" should not cause any problems, especially the "Mistral" is clearly to be a radical redesign of the project in connection with specific the conditions of the Russian Navy - ice reinforcement of the hull, the development of new lifting mechanisms and changing the openings of the lifts according to the weight and size characteristics of Russian helicopters; Uba. Of the other significant changes, the abandonment of the natural ventilation of the hangar deck (the North Sea people are clearly not happy about the openings on board the ship), which entails the creation of a forced ventilation system - very difficult on such a scale. In short, the Russian Mistral series will be seriously different from the original.

And what about the Japanese? In addition to the two Hugue-type helicopter destroyers in service, Japan is developing a new project, Heisei 22, an even larger aircraft carrier with a full displacement of 27 000 tons.
Specifically, there is little information on the Heisei 22 destroyer, it is only indicated that the ship will have a length of 248 meters, and on its decks 50 trucks and 400 paratroopers (or equivalent load) can be accommodated. Accordingly, the wing will increase.
A far from peaceful destroyer-helicopter carrier is being created in response to the appearance of plans by China for the creation of classic nuclear aircraft carriers. Japan has another serious adversary, the DPRK, which has repeatedly proved that it can move from threats to action. And, of course, Russia, with which Japan has an unresolved issue on the Northern Territories (the islands of the Kuril Ridge).

Russia is great, but there is no place to put a helicopter

Use the Japanese experience in creating light aircraft carriers for Russia is not acceptable. At a lower cost in 3, Hyuga is an order of magnitude inferior in terms of combat capabilities to large classic aircraft carriers - a small air group (10-15 machines), the absence of long-range radar detection aircraft, modest (compared to Nimitz) ammunition and aviation fuel stock make the idea "Light aircraft carrier" absolutely not attractive. Japan is forced to create such strange constructions - this is imposed on it by the restrictions set forth in the Constitution. Russia has no such prohibitions, so the construction of light aircraft carriers is not an effective way to spend money. And to develop an aircraft carrier fleet - only in the form of classical nuclear aircraft carriers.

On the other hand, in the concept of "helicopter destroyer" there is a rational grain. Many experts agree that the helicopters used as the main strike force of the Hyuuga give the ship increased flexibility in the use of its weapons, which most closely meets the requirements of modern conflicts. A helicopter destroyer can be used as an anti-submarine ship, fire at surface and ground targets, paratroop groups of special forces in the zone of military conflicts and cover them with fire, be used as a transport ship for the delivery of military and humanitarian supplies. Hyuga has great potential for conducting search and rescue operations, and the presence of helicopters of minesweepers on the wing of the wing allows the use of Hyuga as a mine-sweeper.

In the future, when creating new Russian warships of the “destroyer class” class, it may be worthwhile to take a closer look at Hugo and create something similar for the Russian Navy. The armament of the Russian destroyer can be rebalanced in the direction of increasing the role of rocket weapons and tactical cruise missiles (Japan has a problem with this - OTP is banned), while maintaining a numerous wing. The presence of several destroyers of this type in the composition of each of the fleets of the Russian Navy can significantly increase the power and flexibility of the use of military ships.

The bulk of people (generally all people) are only interested in their personal lives: seed, work, any hobbies.
These are the civilians, it doesn't make them "good" or "bad"
but with competent work with civilians (any) they can be made allies.

        I'll tell you one joke.

In short ... a lesson in Literature ... everyone answers, and Petya swears and swears. The teacher made remarks so that Petka stopped cursing, but he kept cursing. In general, I could not stand it, yelled at him and said, I’ll come to your house in the evening, I will complain to your parents. And he says. Well, byX.
In general, the teacher who is angry after school goes to Petka’s home, knocks on the door, opens the woman and asks, WHAT IS NECESSARY? And the teacher says hello, but forgive me, are you Mama Petit? And she answers: Me and what do you want? The teacher was bewildered by the tone of Mom, and says, I came to complain about your son. And mother says, you tell this kuynya go to the godfather, this kuynya is not interesting to me. He enters the apartment, knocks on the door of the room, enters, sees one man lying there, all dressed in tattoos ... bald as a ZEC and in a cowardly voice she speaks. Good deed, I came to complain about your son ... And he says, I need to X ... I have a complaint, go to X from here ... The teacher, all distraught, leaves the house, sees Petya coming ... and his little brother with him, 2-3 years from strength. She says oh Petya Petya, is this your brother? And he says yes my brother. And she with a smile, oh, how pretty and so small, probably there aren’t even any teeth ... and the boy with an angry face raises his gaze to the teacher, opens his mouth, and a small, single tooth sticks out in front and says ... hear, and that’s what ,, KUY DOG?))))))))))))))))))))

when you write, do you think what you say?

Did you ask how the story repeats itself? I will tell you:

On the night of May 8, 1939, a group of Japanese, before the platoon with a light machine gun, secretly attempted to occupy the island of the MPR in the middle of the Khalkhin Gol River. The armed conflict lasted from spring to autumn 1939 near the Khalkhin Gol River in Mongolia near the border with Manchuria (Manzhou- go), between the USSR and Japan. The final battle took place in late August and ended in the complete defeat of the 6th separate army of Japan. Everything was finished September 15, 1939

if you still have any doubts, then still here:

On August 8, 1945, the USSR declared to the Japanese ambassador about joining the Potsdam Declaration and declared war on Japan
On August 9, at dawn, the USSR began military operations in Manchuria.
On September 2, it was all over ... Japan signed an unconditional surrender. Actually, on that right, we own the Kuril Islands, if anyone still does not understand))))

And if someone didn’t understand anything after that, and I have deep suspicions that it is so, well then it remains to conduct an extraordinary lesson in practice ((((

When they say that Japan was defeated by the USSR, that it was precisely the defeat of the strong Kwantung Army that brought Yap to its knees, our contribution is decisive, it only causes a feeling of nausea from the stupid cheers and patriotism of our fellow citizens

In fact, Japan entered the war on December 7, 1941 and famously moved forward six months, until it got its teeth under Midway in June 1942, having lost 4 heavy aircraft carriers and the best pilots - a turning point in the war in the Pacific Ocean. Then there was a massacre, both sides suffered heavy losses. By the summer of 1945, after 4 years of war, Japan lost all its raw material bases in the Philippines, Southeast Asia and the islands in the Pacific Ocean, and lost all aviation and total of the fleet, the best generals (including Yamamoto) were killed, by this moment the super battleships Yamato and Musashi had gone to the bottom, the kamikaze period was ending - there were no planes left.

America came close to the Japanese islands - landing was preparing. Japanese taught schoolchildren to attack American paratroopers with bamboo poles, preparing a new bloody massacre

6 of August an atomic bomb falls on a tormented, but still not applicable, samurai country. Hiroshima is destroyed, the Japanese General Staff is already seriously thinking about surrender, the forces are too unequal, there is no point in resisting

FINALLY, AUGUST 8, THE RED ARMY CONFLICTLY JOINS THE WAR WITH JAPAN and smashes the Kwantung Army, the Japanese are shocked and surrender to Soviet soldiers. What a jerk! laughing
By the way, the Great Kwantung Army did not have combat aircraft and tanks, except for single copies. About this cheers patriots prefer not to tell.
Quietly, the Kuril Islands are being occupied, knowing that Japan, exhausted and destroyed, will not be able to resist, even Soviet soldiers-liberators could not come across a kamikaze in battle.

On August 9, the Americans bombarded Nagasaki, a few days later Japanese admirals and generals make themselves seppuku, the Emperor renounces his Divine status, hostilities cease on all fronts, a week later, on September 2, an American squadron enters Tokyo Harbor, aboard the battleship Missouri. the act of surrender is signed.

It would seem, where does the Red Army? laughing Entering the war is a vile violation of the agreement on mutual non-aggression of April 19, 1941 between the USSR and Japan.
Japan kept her word, in the most difficult times she did not attack the USSR. Stalin vilely stabbed in the back of a wounded neighbor fighting on another front in the ocean

Yes, of course, everything was decided by the American vigorous bomb, yeah.

and about the entry of the USSR into the war with Japan, these were just the conditions of the Americans. And there are no eternal friends --- or you console yourself with the hope that Hitler would take Moscow to 1941 to maintain neutrality, or whatever.

The need for Tokyo bombing has been mixed and controversial. General Curtis LeMay later stated: “I think if we lost the war, then I would be tried as a war criminal” [4]. However, he believes that the bombing saved many lives, pushing Japan to surrender. He also believes that if the bombing continued, a ground invasion would no longer be necessary, since by then Japan would have suffered enormous damage. Historian Tsuyoshi Hasegawa in Racing the Enemy (Cambridge: Harvard UP, 2005) argues that the main reason for surrender was not atomic strikes and bombardment by incendiary shells of Japanese cities, but the Soviet attack, which terminated the neutrality pact between the USSR and Japan and the fear of the Soviet invasion .

In Tokyo, there is a memorial complex dedicated to the bombing, a museum, as well as several monuments. Photo exhibitions are held annually in the exhibition halls. In 2005, a ceremony was held in memory of the victims, where two thousand people who witnessed the bombing were present, and Prince Akishino - the grandson of Emperor Hirohito

31 rifle divisions, cavalry divisions, mechanized corps and 11 tank brigades.
In the north of Manchuria, the Japanese held one infantry division and two brigades against the Second Far Eastern Front, consisting of 11 rifle divisions, 4 rifle and 9 tank brigades. In the west of Manchuria, the Japanese deployed 6 infantry divisions and one brigade - against 33 Soviet divisions, including two tank divisions, two mechanized corps, a tank corps and six tank brigades. In central and southern Manchuria, the Japanese held several more divisions and brigades, as well as both tank brigades and all combat aircraft.

It should be noted that the tanks and planes of the Japanese army in 1945 according to the criteria of that time cannot be called obsolete. They approximately corresponded to the Soviet tank and aviation equipment of the 1939 model. According to the assessment given in the journal of military operations of the Trans-Baikal Front troops, "Japanese tanks are of a backward design, low-powered and cannot even be compared with our light tanks" [. This also applies to Japanese anti-tank guns, which had a caliber of only 37 and 47 millimeters - that is, suitable for fighting only with light Soviet tanks. H

Let's imagine the situation - there was no defeat of the Kwantung army (by the way, this is the wrong name) that we have - about 1 million soldiers in Sakhalin, Manchuria and the Kuril Islands Despite the fact that there were explosions in Hiroshima and Nagasaki (and, before that, the usual bombs in Tokyo were killed more than in Nagasaki) the United States would most likely have required a landing operation and not the fact that everything would have gone like Omaha Beach. Definitely the United States would win, but a little later. And the simultaneous psychological impact of nuclear explosions and the defeat of large forces in such a short period of time, finally put Japan on its knees, and if you look at the facts, how do you like in chronological order, it turns out that the Kwantung operation was the last, where the Japanese realized that the war they certainly won’t pull from the USSR either, therefore they surrendered. In this case, this defeat for Japan became what is called the last straw in the Guadalcanal, Midway, burnt cities - that is, decisive.

A powerful group of Russian aircraft in February 2012 completed a flyby of Japanese airspace in the area of the Hokkaido and Honshu islands. The group included two strategic bombers of the Russian Air Force Tu-95MS, two front-line reconnaissance aircraft Su-24, and an A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft. They took off for combat patrol from the Ukrainka air base in the Far East. In certain areas of the flight, bombers were accompanied by Su-27 fighters.
Our strategic bombers did not fly at all in order to fight fighters. If necessary, they will launch their cruise missiles with nuclear warheads a thousand kilometers from the target, and Japan will not be in 20 minutes. Here the fact itself is important that we again appear in the airspace over the Pacific Ocean. In general, we must do the same as the Americans, who do what they want.

Russia needs an elongated Mistral (which is possible due to the modular architecture of the original project) with a power plant configured according to the CODLAG scheme and providing a 28-30 nodal full speed, a springboard, an aerofinisher and the possibility of basing MiG-29K fighters. At 245-255 meters in maximum length and 28-30 thousand tons of displacement, everything should fit. For one, not two, but three DKVPs, or six Project 11770 air-cavity landing craft will fit into the extended dock chamber.

This is a notoriously rotten path. The "Extended Mistral" will cost as much as half of a heavy nuclear aircraft carrier, but it will be an order of magnitude inferior to it in terms of combat capabilities - the air wing 15-20 MiG-29 versus 60-70 Nimitz aircraft, AWACS aircraft are absent, the speed is only 18 knots, the fuel supply and ammunition - several times less

And against whom to use such a trough?

Oleg! Why is a littoral helicopter carrier landing in the open ocean? If only to reach Kunashir or to Poti (Trabzon).
The concept of an ocean strike fleet was implemented by the "stupid" Americans 60 years ago. With our open spaces "from Severomorsk to Brazil"You can do with strategic bombers. And I think it is stupid to castrate the idea of a large aircraft carrier if you need a constant presence of an aviation group somewhere near Diega Garcia."

The BPС 214.5 extended to 250 meters was not offered by the French to the Australians at the price of half of the nuclear aircraft carrier. And the Spanish 230.8 meter BPE with a combined diesel-gas turbine power plant did not cost the Australians at such a price. Why did you decide that the lengthened UDC based on the French project is needed by the Russian Navy instead of, and not together with the nuclear aircraft carrier? I have already written about the course: "with a power plant according to the CODLAG scheme providing 28-30 nodal full speed". As you know, it is this kind of power plant used by the Spaniards. They added one GE LM 2500 turbine to the diesel engines and provided 21.5 knots at full displacement and 24 knots in the light aircraft carrier version (with a displacement reduced to 24 thousand tons). We would put two turbines, and "azipods" of greater power, there would be 28-30 nodal speed.

The French extended to 214.5 meters of BPS 250 by Australians are by no means at the price of half a nuclear carrier

The exact figures are as follows: according to the contract signed in June 2011, the construction of the first Mistral-class universal amphibious assault ship will cost the Russian treasury 720 million eurosecond - in 650 million euro.
1dollar = 1,3 euros, hence the cost of each of the ships is 1 billion dollars. Without weapons, CIUS and radio electronics - an empty box with an engine

In fact, neither one nor the other is needed - they will have nowhere to apply.
Everything is complicated by the fact that there is an unarmed and very expensive Mistral, and the aircraft carrier is not visible in the near future

We would have installed two turbines, and "azipods" of greater power, there would be 28-30 nodal speed.

Here you need to count. It may be worth replacing Azipods with traditional movers. Propeller shafts are not suitable for high speeds.

As for the capabilities of the "lengthened Mistral", I have already said - as an aircraft carrier it is useless: only 15-20 Mig-29s, low combat load of vehicles due to the absence of catapults, the absence of AWACS aircraft, smaller reserves of aviation fuel

"The contract is estimated at 1.2 trillion euro... France will transfer a number of sensitive technologies to Russia along with Mistral ships to be purchased by Russia, including the SENIT-9 tactical combat information system installed on the helicopter carriers. ".

In fact, neither one nor the other is needed - they will have nowhere to apply.

The decisions of the military-political leadership on this issue are known: the Mistrals have been bought, the aircraft carrier project is being developed, NITKA is being completed in Yeisk - that means they are needed.

            unarmed and very expensive Mistral

DVKD built according to the French project for the Russian Navy will be well armed with domestic missile systems. These are the problems of the French that they did not have enough money to install the VL Mica and Tetral air defense systems on the Mistral, Tonner and Dixmud. "Very expensive" is the "San Antonio", the "Mistral" today has a price similar to that of the Project 22350 frigate.

Propeller shafts are not suitable for high speeds.

Suitable. Watch the 30-knot 2-deck Queen Mary XNUMX cruise ship from Alstom:

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Queen_Mary_2

As for the capabilities of the "lengthened Mistral", I have already said - as an aircraft carrier it is useless: only 15-20 MiG-29

About the same (and often much less) VTOL AV-8B is placed on the American UDC type "Wasp". Watch how the AV-8B was used from the deck of the UDC Bataan in March 2003, or from the deck of the UDC Kearsarge in March 2011:

"As of March 20, AV-8B Harrier II attack aircraft from the LHD Kearsarge have been reported attacking Libyan targets as part of Operation Odyssey Dawn."

The command of the U.S. ILC is going to use the UDC decks for the base of fighter jets in the future.

            The MiG-29K is capable of taking off from a springboard with a take-off mass of 17700 kg with a take-off distance of 105 m and a take-off mass of 22400 kg (maximum take-off weight) with a take-off distance of 195 m.

if you build normal ships, normal in the universal sense, and not a mixture of porcupine and raccoon. Cross the landing ship dock
with an aircraft-carrying cruiser a la "Kuznetsov", stuff it with anti-ship missiles and more
and get again the super ship unparalleled in the world.

The combat stability of any unarmored ship filled with fuel and ammunition is close to zero. More or less, faster or slower is not very important. 18 knots are enough to swim near the coast, less fuel will eat, and 16 or 64 missiles will not save HUGU or IZU from a massive attack. the problem of the Imperial Army and the Japanese Navy was the antiquated thinking and propaganda of the "spirit of Yamato", Tojo Hideaki, who actually ruled the country, introduced it to World War II, the IJN and his commanders were against the war in China and then the war with the United States, the first to speak about this was Yamamoto Isoroku who was the main opponent of Tojo, and some IJA generals were against these conflicts among them was Kuribayashi Tadamichi who covered himself with glory defending Iwo Jima where he died as a hero. There has long been a dispute between the IJN and the IJA about joining the war, in fact, the militarists from the IJA and the government sign a tripartite pact.
There will be no repetition of the story, although I personally hope that the shameful 9th article will be removed in Japan.
The Japanese will not start new warriors, at the moment there is a re-equipment of JSDF and a transition to new technology of their own design (type 10 to replace type 74 and type 90, ATD-X as a 5th generation fighter for JASDF, as well as JNSDF will rearm .).

no one thought that a nuclear strike on Japan would cause a chain reaction? Ever thought that a nuclear strike would catch both the PRC and Korea, and actually you?
any ballistic missile flying over the Pacific Ocean will be immediately noticed by missile defense systems of more than five countries and will be regarded as a threat.
