The Russian authorities finally made a decision in principle to create offshore zones in the Russian Federation. They will be located in the Kaliningrad region and in Primorye - on the islands of the Russian and October.

It should be recalled that the offshore zone is a place where there are no taxes, or there is a low tax rate. Therefore, it is so popular in the world to keep money in such territories. No joke, but about 60% of all financial transactions in the world are carried out through offshore companies. In fact, most of the large business of developed countries keeps their capital outside of household taxation.

Russian companies are no exception. Almost all backbone enterprises of our country keep their money in the western offshore. At the same time, the security of these funds is not guaranteed by anyone, and given the difficult relations between Moscow and Washington, the money of Russian corporations can be quickly arrested or even withdrawn.

Under these conditions, the creation in Russia of its own offshore zones is a justifiable and quite natural step.
