Croatian footballers go home for “Glory to Ukraine” and “Belgrade, Burn”?
106
Ukrainian activists decided to support (in their understanding of this term) the Croatian national team, whose representatives recorded a video shouting “Glory to Ukraine”. Recall that the Croatian Football Union punished the representative of the Croatian coaching staff Ognjen Vukojević for the above-mentioned video by excommunication from the national team at the World Cup 2018 in Russia by sending home. In addition, FIFA issued a verdict, on the basis of which Vukojevic will be heavily fined for political statements during the tournament. The defender of the Croatian team Domagoj Vida has been warned, but so far he is in the national team.
This time, Ukrainian bloggers found on the Internet and published another video in which Vida shouts “Glory to Ukraine”. And he is next to another representative of the coaching staff of the Croatian national football team (ex-CSKA football player) Ivica Olic. With a bottle of beer in his hand, Vida shouts out the slogan of the Croatian nationalists “Belgrade, burn!” It is noteworthy that Ukrainian bloggers rejoice that they have found this video. In this case, the mass of the Maidan rub their hands with pleasure, savoring what a disturbance the video will cause in Russia. But people with podastryulnym thinking, it seems, are not able to understand that in this way they “help” the Croatian national team (at least to its individual representatives) to fly out of the World Cup 2018 and be disqualified. If FIFA decides to consider this video, then there is a considerable likelihood that Vida and Olic will also be forced to pay a substantial fine, and HFS will have to remove them from work in the national team. Who then will shout "Glory", Mr. Vida, who in his head, apparently, sits Maidan virus, which he picked up during the performances for "Dynamo" (Kiev)?
Recall that earlier Domagoj Vida said that his video "should not be regarded as political." FIFA will figure it out.
