
As follows from the report, the option of increasing the retirement age for men up to 65 years, for women up to 63, i.e. for five and eight years, respectively, while taking a more relaxed for women scenario of retirement in 60 years. It is also assumed that most of the existing benefits for retirement for certain categories of citizens (military, security forces, hazardous industries, etc.) will be preserved.
In addition, it is reported that previously considered three options for raising the retirement age. The Ministry of Labor proposed two scenarios: the first provides for retirement in 65 years for men and in 60 years for women, the other in 62 years for men and in 60 years for women. The Ministry of Finance proposed the option in 65 years for men and 63 for women. According to RBC sources, the government stopped at this very option.
